Halloween is quickly approaching and that means candy, chocolate and treats may be taking over a house near you. Keep your puppy safe this holiday season by making sure you keep your puppy away from unsafe foods for them. Training involves lots of food rewards in the beginning and we suggest using kibble, string cheese, carrots, apples, etc. to keep the costs low. But beware! There are foods which are NOT safe for your puppy. Make sure you know about them! Common holiday food items to avoid are:

* Almonds
* Chocolate
* Cinnamon
* Garlic
* Onions
* Ice Cream
* Macadamia Nuts
* Xylitol
* Grapes
* Raisins
* Fat Trimmings & Bones (no cooked bones!)
* Foods with pits or large seeds (peaches, avocados, etc.)
* Yeast Dough
* Salty foods

The boys (Jack and Benny) are at their new forever home. I know they are with the best family and will have a wonderful life together.

Updated availability: Carolyn’s Cavanese breeding program is coming to an end. With that said, all puppies and adults need their forever homes. This does not mean that they are going to be given away. Jewelee, Piper 2, Tina and Sam have been adopted.

I’m looking for reliable, loving families to adopt the last 2 Cavanese boy puppies and the last 2 adult Havanese girls.

Order of names of the pictures are:

Ms. Gracie (FH), Jack (MC) and Benny (MC) and Ms. Penny Lane (FH). Ages range from 11 months old to 3 years old. Jack and Benny are Ms. Penny Lane’s sons.
