🕯️ Tips to best care for your wood wick candles 🕯️

Wood wick candles can be tricky (to say the least) but are totally worth the maintenance in our opinion 💁🏼‍♀️

Here’s a few things to keep in mind when using our wood wick candles 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼

• burn your candle all the way to edge when using it the first time, this will reduce ‘tunnelling’ and make your candle last longer
• on average it will take 6 re-lights to get your candle going when it’s first burning (we know….) persist with re-lighting to get the best burn out of your candle
• TRIM YOUR WICKS (I’m such a slacker with this) but to create a clean burn you must trim your wick to 5mm after each burn
• burn your candle away from drafts and keep well out the reach of kids and pets

If you have trouble with your candle just simply DM us for advice. 🫶🏼

A Coastal Co ✨life update✨ for our beautiful followers 🫶🏼

I will be going on maternity leave to have my second baby in March this year! 🌷

This means a couple of things….

• I have incredibly limited availability for my stockist wholesale orders this year, orders will only be open from NOW- 4th March, until further notice so please get in ASAP if you would like to restock before I head on leave

• I plan to attend the 2025 Christmas markets which will be my only market stall of the year and your only chance to shop our beautiful products in person 🤍

• while I would love to keep the website stocked for you, this won’t be possible while I am on leave so the website will be inactive as of 30th March, until further notice. I will begin taking orders through DM once I find my groove with the baby

The great news is our perfumes, candles and bath soaks will be available to purchase through multiple local stockists during my leave! Stay tuned for a list of stores you can visit to purchase our locally made natural products.

Thank you for your understanding as I pull back for a while and enjoy some family time from the end of March. I will be back in full swing by the end of the year. 🌷

What a year….. am I right? 😍

The Coastal Co. kept busy this year with 3 market stalls, providing stock to 6 stockists and making & selling over 200 perfumes….(and more 🙊)
How incredible is it to look back on your year of small business and see the fruits of your labour? It’s a tough gig at times (NGL 😅) but this year of business has been filled with so much fun, creativity and some of the most beautiful people I’ve met!

Thank you everyone for your support in 2024, here’s to another amazing year ahead! 🫶🏼🥂
