We are a small family owned ranch offering film/movie Wrangling services. We value rare and heritage breeds and have been blessed to be entrusted with the ownership of a small flock of rare Icelandic Sheep, the equally hard to come by Icelandic Sheepdog (Currently only about 830 Icelandic Sheepdogs are registered by AKC) Additionally, Stubborn Elm Ranch has been breeding and raising the oldest, m

ost beautiful, versatile, breed of horse; the Arabian and Half Arabian Since 2001. We breed our Arabians for correct conformation, beautiful type, willing disposition, and superior versatility with a recent focus on the English disciplines. All our horses are AHR or HAHR registered and most are Breeders Sweepstakes enrolled. We also raise and enjoy the rare and affectionate Icelandic Sheepdog. We are an ISAA approved breeder, and perform all recommended health tests on our dogs (CERF, OFA, etc) all our adult/breeding age dogs are CHIC registered. Our dogs are AKC/FSS/ISAA registered and love helping out here on the ranch moving horses, sheep, and occasionally cattle. We own a small breeder flock of CLRC registered, valuable,multi-purpose Icelandic Sheep. All our sheep are purebred and most are CLRC registered, and we are members in good standing with ISBONA. Our sheep have been selected for excellent fleece, good lambing record/potential, milkiness, and a good build for the 5 star restaurant quality meat this breed is favored for. We keep detailed health, birth, pedigree, breeding, and ownership information on all of our animals. References can be provided, as needed, and we are happy to answer any questions you may have about the animals we love and raise.

Stubborn Elm's Written in the Stars Finnish Lapphund Tuuli x Dino litter is two weeks old!

All the puppies have opened their eyes. The puppies are trying out walking, are beginning to interact with their environment, & showing more of their personalities.

ENS ends 2 days past their two week birthday, but lots of daily handling, socialization & environmental enrichment continue.

Our Embark DNA testing kits just arrived, so we'll be sending those in for each puppy this week.

Here were their 2 week old birthday weights:

Puppy #1 2lbs 7.8 oz

Puppy #2 1 lb 15.6 oz

Puppy #3 2 lbs 5.2 oz

Puppy #4 2 lbs 6.5 oz
