Nope. Beanie season has come to an end, with that the season of the approaching strangers who likely haven’t really walked their overly energetic dog in six months is upon us. “Can my dog say Hi?” And “Don’t worry he’s friendly!!” And “Oh my Gosh look at the puppy, I wanna pet her!?!?”
This season is what lead to the purchase of the new hat- But before the new hat arrived I had an eye-opening training session with a dog and owner that lead me into a deep thought vortex of the word I had just ordered embroidered onto a hat for a totally different reason than it being a marker word I use daily. So then I ted-talk-style ranted my thoughts down into a note which I have shared here. I am not here to judge anyone, I don’t want my hat to imply rudeness or be off putting but also Nope you can’t pet my dog, and Nope they can’t “say Hi.”
I find it most rewarding to assist humans to find harmony with their canine companions. I live for the AHA moments captured and witnessed in both the human and the dog. If you are struggling with your dog, if your dog is struggling with you- I would love the opportunity to help you both.
