Yesterday I had the pleasure of spending the day pampering Ghost with help from Grooms By Trinity! This sweet boy is a one year old great pyrnees mix from 4 Paws who has the goofiest personality! We ended the day with a little treat from Dairy Queen in Ruston 🤩🥰❤️

Double-coated dogs have a unique grooming need due to their two-layered fur. The outer layer, or guard coat, is made up of longer, coarser hairs, while the undercoat is softer and denser. This dual coat provides insulation and protection but also requires regular maintenance to keep the dog comfortable and healthy.

King, the German Shepherd, recently had a maintenance appointment and absolutely loved it. He feels so much better knowing he’s not going to cover all of his mom’s stuff with fur!

Meet Nala, the adorable Malti-Poo!

🐾 She came in pretty matted, and her mom was a bit unsure how she'd do since Nala was newly adopted with no grooming records. But Nala did AMAZING! 🌟

As each matt fell away, her sweet personality shined through more and more. By the end, she was thrilled to have all that hair off and ready for some mommy-and-me time. Took her home for a relaxing evening with mom. 🥰
