We are currently OVER Capacity at the rescue at this moment.
Boundaries are so important in rescue. We have decided as a rescue to only house 15 cats at a time, and we have 27 currently.
We have chosen to do this due to a few different reasons, main reason being our rescue is in the basement of a retail store and when we get over capacity it smells, we are in dire need of reliable volunteers to help out once a week to keep the smell down and the cats happy and fed, etc.
➡️ We currently do volunteers a little different than other rescues due to being in the basment of the store. If you are interested in potentially volunteering, please send us an email! [email protected]
With that being said, we have one lead on a building currently, but we NEED funding to help us secure the space and get it to where we need it to be to house cats.
Once we have a building for the rescue, we will be doing everything in our power to be “open intake” at LEAST once a week, and will no longer have to tell our community members no, and that we can’t help. We want to help, we want to do more, but we are at the mercy of all of you!
With that being said, our capital campaign project has a few more weeks left and we NEED your help!
Link to donate below to donate, and even if you can’t do a lot, any amount helps! We appreciate all of the donations we receive, and so do the kitties and the community!
