We won’t be at PetSmart this weekend! Instead, on Saturday, April 26th, join us at the Putts FORE Mutts Annual Golf Event at Bear Creek Golf Club, located at 3500 Bear Creek Ct, Dallas, TX 75261.

🏌️ Event Details:

Format: Four-Person Scramble | 18 Holes

Price: $600 per Team | $150 per Individual

Shotgun Start: 1:30 PM

All proceeds go directly towards rescue dogs!

Even if you don’t want to participate in the golf event, you’re still welcome to come and meet our dogs—most of our available dogs will be there!

🐶 Please Note: There also will be no adoption event on Sunday. If you can’t make it to Bear Creek Golf Club this Saturday, we look forward to seeing you next weekend at the Plano PetSmart (6204 W Park Blvd).

We’ll resume our regular weekend adoption events every Saturday and Sunday from 1–5 PM.

🚨ACTION ALERT: The Ethical Pet Sales Bill currently has a tentative hearing for either next Tuesday, April 22, or Thursday, April 24. We’ll notify you as soon as we have the official details.

This is our THIRD session attempting to pass this bill. If it does not become law this session, the puppy mill pipeline to Texas will continue indefinitely, and puppies will continue to suffer as a result. This bill is crucial to protecting the animals and consumers of Texas!

👉 Come to the Capitol and sign a card of support at the Witness Kiosk next week. If you believe in this bill, NOW is the time to act!

💔 Rescue Work is Never Simple 💔

When we rescued little Sugar, we knew she had been neglected, but what we didn’t know was the severity of the situation hiding beneath her matted fur.

Last night, we had to rush her to urgent care, where they discovered a severe wound under all those mats. The vet had to sedate her, remove the hardened fur, and bandage the wound. This could have ended in catastrophe—had we waited any longer, it might have gotten infected, turned gangrene, and she could have lost her limb—or worse.

Thankfully, she’s now on the road to recovery, but the urgent care visit came with a $300 vet bill.

Rescue work like this is only possible with your support.

💔 Rescue Alert: This Sweet Girl Needs Your Help 💔

We just rescued this little girl who was tragically abandoned in a crate in an apartment parking lot.

Sugar has been severely neglected—her fur is matted so badly that it’s hardened and stuck to her skin.

Despite all she’s endured, we’re committed to giving her the care and love she deserves. This will be a long road to recovery, but we won’t give up on her. 🐾

Meet an adorable two-year-old pug mix, Jeeves.

Jeeves is an outgoing and playful boy who adapts well to any pack! He enjoys any activity that involves spending time with people and other dogs, including going to the dog park, going for walks, wrestling with his fellow canines, playing with stuffies and chew toys, and snuggling next to his humans in bed at night. Jeeves has lovely mealtime manners and is housetrained and doggie door trained. Jeeves is a perfect 19 pounds. His ideal forever family will provide him with plenty of exercise, involve him in as many family activities as possible, and minimize his solo time. We think he would love to have another friendly pup to play with. If you’re looking for a good-natured best friend who is as extroverted as you are, Jeeves is your guy!
