🚨 Foster Spotlight: Crawford! 🚨

Meet Crawford — my 2-year-old foster pup who has completely stolen my heart. I think he’s a Plott Hound (and he sure acts like one!), but whatever his mix is, he’s one of the most lovable, well-rounded dogs I’ve ever fostered.

This big, goofy love bug doesn’t quite understand how large he is — he just wants to crawl into your lap and be your best friend. He's playful, intelligent, incredibly cuddly, and he’s more than ready to find his forever home. 🐾

Crawford is:
✅ Crate trained
✅ E-collar trained
✅ Dog-friendly
✅ People-loving
✅ A great car rider (seriously — load him up, and he’s ready for adventure!)
✅ Outdoorsy — he lives for hikes and trail walks
✅ A total obedience rockstar

He knows: sit, stay, down, come, heel, leave it, place (holds a down/stay on a dog bed), and patiently waits at thresholds, for food, and before leaving his crate.

Crawford is the kind of dog you can take on a 2-mile hike, then bring home for a couch cuddle session. He stays by your side on trails and is always ready to connect — he wants a person, and he’s more than ready to find them.

I got to see little Petunia yesterday, one of the parvo puppies from a few weeks ago. Sadly, her sibling didn’t make it, but this little girl pulled through and is absolutely thriving.

She’s bright-eyed, full of energy, super intelligent, playful, social, and such a cuddly little thing. We were working on curbing her grass-snacking habit, building structure and communication with her foster family, and helping with puppy nipping.

It’s a foster-to-adopt situation, and the family was *so* nice. It was really cool to see how invested they are in starting her off on the right paw. It always makes me happy to see people doing the work early to help set their puppy up for success.

This girl has come a long way in such a short time. 💛🐶
