Finally have the video of our trail/freestyle run from Friday. He was definitely very nervous in this arena but considering he’s never been in front of this many people (and his first time in this arena and course was this moment) he stayed with me very well! (Although, the spook at the mailbox was a bit much🙃) I’m very proud of him and happy he got to come home with me at the end of this weekend ❤️

Showmanship! I’m really proud of how his little 2 year old brain handled this, and although a little squirrely setting up overall he did great! When I get the trail video when I get home, I’ll post that too! All that’s left tomorrow is awards, and then Apollo gets to come home for good!❤️

One last outing before move-in day tomorrow! This was his first day ponying, and while a bit of a 2-year-old still (everything must go in the mouth lol) he did great! We also spent a long time on the teeter-totter and balance beam to help prep for comp! All in all he did great and is feeling ready to go tomorrow!

Hey all! Sorry for the lack of updates, I’ve been out of town the last three weeks! But finally I’m home with a week left until comp, so hopefully lots of updates to come! We’ve got some good plans for practice this week (as well as bath time🫡)

After sending the information email to T&OM for the program this year I guess I can make it official… I am KEEPING Apollo! He is literally such an amazing horse and I fell in love way too quick to let him go😭🫶 I also know that I will be needing a new personal horse in the next 1-2 years, making it the perfect timeline for this guy to be mine! Welcome home Apollo!🥳🥳🥳

Apollo had his second full trim today! He even put his back feet on the stand and acted like a pro! Thank you Amira again and as always for being amazing at what you do and being patient with him 🥰 Pacific Northwest Natural Hoofcare

Worked with Apollo on my (very) DIY obstacle course 🙃 He did great! Although, maybe not the most graceful 2 year old around 😅 Tomorrow he gets his second (and a half) hoof trim!

We conquered the parade today! Apollo did amazing and held it together through all the scary things, and looked super freaking cute the whole time!

Pool noodles fun day 2! Upped the stakes a little bit today to try and prepare for tomorrow 🙃

Apollo met the pool noodles today! He was a bit nervous for the first few minutes but eventually walked right over them like a champ 🫶 this video was about halfway through working them, he honestly ended even better than this 🙃 Love this boy!
