Hi, I'm Ethan and I'm a middle-schooler that loves dogs. See that cute dog in my logo? That's Lulu! I got her from a shelter in 2018. She's some sort of poodle mix and is the best dog. She was found on the street with 5 puppies, and they think she was dumped there by her owners. She was really ugly when we got her, but she's a really cute, fluffy pup now. I got her after two years of begging for a second dog.
Chuy is my other miniature poodle. He came from a different shelter and was also found on the street. He was scared and skinny and has a BB bullet lodged under his skin from some cruel person shooting him. He is still scared of a lot of things like feather dusters, fly swatters, cowboy boots, people wearing hats, counting backward (I know, weird!), and clean laundry being folded.
Pet sitting was not the start of my business ventures. I actually started by making dog food for my picky eaters and trying to sell it to other people that also had picky dogs. I went to Dallas to get away during the first few months of the pandemic last year when we couldn't be in the classroom and could do school from anywhere with an internet connection. While I was there, for my PE class, I offered to walk dogs for free on the trail behind the place we were staying and I hoped I could sell my dog food too. I still feed my dogs Pup Grub, but nobody seemed interested in buying it from me. But, I loved the dog walking and people WERE interested in that. I have dogsat for two neighbors so far, and I had a blast and I'm hoping to help out more pet owners in our neighborhood. It's a win/win. You work, and I do online school from home and have a really flexible schedule.
