My mom ... my best friend ... the one person I could always talk to no matter if I was right or wrong she would always listen and let me say what I needed to ... I wish she were here now more than ever ... I miss her so very much ... so many regrets ... 😭😭

She would be 74 today if she was still with us. I lost her to Stage 4 Cancer ... Nothing prepares you for losing a Parent ... specially when it is quick and uncurable ... I miss you so much Mom, I wish I had visited and spent more time with you , Not a day goes by that I don't wish I could pick up the phone and talk like we used to ...

Do not waste your time with people who are in your life, tell them now before it is too late ... do not live with those regrets... And put the petty disputes aside... You get one go with this.. Do not waste it!

I love you Mom. I miss you so much 😢 😞 😔

It would seem that my 2 rescues have developed a special friendship. They're almost always together. No ideas on s*x yet, still have a bit to learn on these guys but that are both recovering well.

Belial, the largest one had missing/raw patches of scales from trying to live in a 40g breeder with 2 adult fire Cichlids, an adult jewel cichlid, and 2 huge loaches. The top of the head was the worst spot, now you can barely see anything.

The smaller of the 2 has yet to be named came out of a tank with a fully grown Parrot cichlid x Red Devil cichlid and was not getting much in the way of foods. He was so stressed when i got him he would not eat for almost a week straight. Still has a way to go to catch up in mass to "his" other buddies but is now at least getting whatever food he will eat.

Nearly 24 hours after the storm, we remain one of the 80,000+ without power or internet. We've received your messages and emails, but can't respond with our poor mobile connections.

My new Hygger tank vacuum I'm totally in love with this and please keep in mind I'm not left handed and its hard to keep an eye on the 📷 to make sure in recording and actually cleaning the tank at the same time😆 hopefully you can see how it works but I'm totally sold!

Few things going on here this week, other than being SUPER busy at work lol, we have one of our HMPK girls in QT for Popeye, no one else is showing any symptoms so thinking this may be injury started rather than any of the other options. this is 48 hours so far of QT and treatments and already seeing improvements ... also just came in on Thursday we have an adoption that we picked up who is a really cute little galaxy koi male? not sure quite what his "technical" name is as they change so much anymore lol but he is gorgeous and healthy :) he's going through QT though just because he's new and that's how it works lol ... but he is feisty and hungry so I do not think he will have any issues getting through QT quickly, his name is Pumpkin :) Pics soon!

Hoping to be setting up a 55g acrylic soon from scratch ... it will be a slow process as we're going to take our time picking and choosing what we are going to put in there ... though I do know I need to hit TSC for some more Black Diamond Blasting Sand ... LOVE the way that it turned out in my other tanks
