💡Fun Fact: A dog’s paw contains thousands of nerve endings that help them detect temperature and pressure. Just like humans, your pet’s tolerance for touch varies. Familiarizing them with their paws being touched more frequently can help make nail trimming appointments less stressful!

Puppies at play may seem rough, but did you know that roughhousing is a way for them to develop social skills? 🐾🫶 Wrestling with another pup teaches them:

🐶 Bite inhibition (how hard is too hard)
🗣️ Body language (play bows, growls, signals)
🙅 Boundaries (when another puppy says “that’s enough”)

Pet parents should always monitor for when a play situation gets out of hand, but puppies naturally play harder while they grow and learn! 🧠
