Buddy is a 9 year old Poodle x Bichon.

He has been a very spoilt wee man and has come into our care after the passing of his mum.

Buddy is a very active boy and enjoys going for walks and spending time with his people.
He gets very excited when he sees his leash and harness.

His recall has been really good for his foster mum and he has even been on the side by side to feed the horses. Buddy is very good with his foster mums 1year old and even lets her try walk him.

In typical poodle style he is a picky wee eater, but he does love a treat and has packed a heap with him for his new adventure.

Buddy has also packed all his favourite toys to come to a new home with him.

He has always been the only dog and would like to be your only dog, he has been staying with two other dogs so we may consider a house with a second dog if it’s the right fit. He isn’t very good with cats and would prefer not to live with them.

Buddy is being fostered in Oamaru.

Tank is a 2-year-old Poodle x Labrador

He is:
🐾 Desexed
🐾 Vaccinated
🐾 Registered
🐾 Microchipped
🐾 Flead & wormed

Our boy Tank is still searching for a special place to call his own. He had no intrest from our last post 😞

Tank has had three trials that haven't worked out through no fault of his own and through one of these trials we learnt that he does not have hypo allogenic hair (which is why he didn’t work out on that trail).

Tank is looking good with his fresh hair cut and has put on some good weight with his foster mum, Tank weighs around 14kg.

Great things about Tank:

🐾Very affectionate
🐾Great with kids
🐾Great with other dogs
🐾Mostly good recall
🐾Food driven
🐾Great on lead
🐾Good around horses - hasn't shown any interest in livestock but is always watched when around livestock (better safe than sorry)
🐾Loves Fetch
🐾loves car rides
🐾plays well with big and small dogs

⭐️ Tanks current bestie and play mate is Opal a 2kg dog which he plays really well with. Considering her small size ⭐️

Tank is incredibly patient with his foster mums 1year old granddaughter, that has fallen on him multiple times and he isn’t even phased he enjoys following the little girl around and eating all the food she offers him.

Tank however isn't keen on cats.
We wont consider homes with cats or homes where he would be the only dog as he is a social butterfly 🦋

Tank does bark we people arrive at the house and can be easily settled with a treat, when he first arrived he would bark at anything he wasn't sure of.

Tank will only be homed to a house with another dog.

Benji

5year old Benji is looking for a new home.

Located in Oamaru

We have met Benji and he is a purebred Jack Russell, he is a very active boy who Loves to play with balls, go to the beach and parks.

His family adopted him from a home where he had previously been mistreated, he is cautious of strangers but once he has warmed up to new people he is a very loving and loyal wee boy.

Benji and his older brother have started fighting. His owners are unsure why this has now started and have made the tough decision that they need to rehome Benji.

We believe Benji would benefit from being the only dog in the house, we are unsure of what he’s like with cats but owners said he has chased chickens previously.

Our boy Tank is still searching for a special place to call his own.

Through no fault of his own Tank is still looking for his perfect forever family.

❗️❗️ we will only consider homes that have another dog as he has never been on his own and gets a lot of his confidence from other dogs ❗️❗️

Tank is amazing with his foster mums 11 month old granddaughter.

Tank is approximately 13kg and taller than a miniature poodle. He is very cuddly and affectionate but he is a little bigger than a lap dog.

Tank is good around livestock and has been taken for long walks with the horses 🐴

Lilly is being fostered in South Canterbury.

Lilly's foster parents say:

Lilly is a confident, outgoing girl who makes friends with strangers easily. She settled in well to a multiple dog foster home.
She's great on and off the lead, especially in low-distraction spots like peaceful riverside morning walks.

She settles well in her crate and is happy to chill out when needed. While she doesn't jump up onto things (and isn’t a fan of being picked up), she loves pats and cuddles on her terms.

Lilly would do well in a home with respectful, dog-savvy kids who understand her space. She’s a sweet, independent girl looking for a loving family to share adventures and snuggles with.

Tank is a 2-year-old Poodle x Labrador

Ready to find his forever home!

His foster Mum says:

This sweet boy has a gentle soul and a playful spirit.
He gets along well with other dogs, adores boat rides (even if he’s more of a sinker than a swimmer!)
He has been a gentle companion around a 9-month-old child.

Tank is crate-trained, travels beautifully in the car, and has shown great manners around horses and cows. He’s food-motivated and eager to learn – already mastering “sit” and working on more commands with his foster mum.

He can be a little wary of new people and will bark when visitors arrive, but he’s become very affectionate with his foster mum as his confidence grows.
Tank would thrive in a quieter home and would prefer to live with another calm, confident dog, to help him feel secure and continue to come out of his shell.

If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion and have the heart and patience to help him flourish, Tank might just be your perfect match.

📢HAZEL HAS GONE ON TRIAL :) 📢

Introducing... Hazel! 🥰

Hazel is an approximately 3 year old Cavalier x Poodle.

She is:
🐾 Desexed
🐾 Vaccinated
🐾 Microchipped

🐾 Dental scale and polish just completed

Hazel's foster Mum says:

"Hazel is a lovely girl with a very calm nature.

When she first came to us, she was so timid and very scared, but over time Hazel has learnt that she is safe and loved. She has come out of her shell and loves to have cuddles, run around, play and loves her treats 😊

Hazel is currently living with a family with 2 small dogs and a cat who she gets on with very well. She is still a bit timid and every now and then loud noises scare her, but every day we see her confidence grow and her cute personality come out.

With time to settle in and adjust to her new home, Hazel will be a wonderful companion to suit any family type whether shes with one person or a whole family with pets."
