FUN FACTS:
Did you know that horses have to see the dentist?🦷 it’s true.
Just like us humans, we need our teeth to be heathy. Horses are the same: if their teeth are not treated properly yearly, it can cause major health issues. Horses teeth continuously grow through their life. Their teeth will start to curve and develop hooks. This causes improper chewing, abscesses in the mouth and weight loss. Imagine having a sharp hook, pierce your cheek as you’re trying to eat!

HCH student Parker brought her bow 🏹 and gave us a mini intro into archery on horseback. Lesson horse Red did a fantastic job on being patient and learning. Excited to see where this could go for us and Mrs. Parker.

Things have been very busy here at the barn,
We wanted to give you all a recent update: we are wrapping up on orientations and finalizing new riders. If you are interested in joining our ohana, please send us a message. We are closing our doors by March 1st! Afterwards we’ll be adding people to our wait list. Mahalo.

HCH had the privilege to work with a local Girl💚Scout troop today! We had so much fun teaching these young girls all about horses and what we do. It’s our goal to enrich keiki to become knowledgeable horsemenship skilled cowboys and cowgirls. The future is our keikis 🤠
