EXCITING NEWS, one of our absolute favorites is coming back for the second year!!! The Spur Stop LLC is hosting a Ranch/Horsemanship/Skills Riding Clinic on 3/5/2022 with BARRY “BEAR” BOLTON. We could not be more excited to be welcoming him to the facility! You will not find a more genuine horseman with the talent this man has and he is an unbelievable humble individual. Kennedy has LOVED any lesson, tidbit of advice at a show, conversation, etc. with Bear as his outlook is insightful each time.

In 2015, Bear won the Palomino World Open Ranch Riding Championship. Bear trains and coaches a tight knit team of non-pro amateurs in West TN. He guided one of his clients to winning the 2018 Palomino World Ranch Riding Amateur Championship.
Bear is a frequent face at many AQHA shows with his clients frequently winning classes, circuit awards and year end high point championships. In addition to his numerous achievements in the show pen, he runs a tight training facility for performance horses specializing in western pleasure and ranch riding.
Barry started training horses for clients in his early teens and his large fan base has not let him rest since. By his late teens he was riding for a professional cutting ranch. He made his way into the highly competitive western pleasure world, training and showing for Masterson Farms. With the introduction and subsequent explosion of the ranch riding classes in recent years, Bear has been at the forefront coaching and guiding many riders to blue ribbon wins. These days Barry, along with his wife Joy and son Zane, operate Bolton Quarter Horses out of Henderson, TN.
Not only is Bear known for his tremendous talent, he is well regarded as a horseman with an incredible level of integrity and character. Bear has -zero- online footprint and it is very hard to get his professional accomplishments out of him. Lots of work on the Indoor Arenas this weekend! Rock removal, leveling, etc. The weather kept us from working on the outdoor but once it dries up it is on the To Do List.
