There is so much advice online about cat behaviour, and honestly? A lot of it is just plain wrong.

You’re not a bad cat parent.

You’ve just been told to manage the behaviour instead of understanding it.
But most “naughty” behaviour isn’t actually misbehaviour at all.

It’s your cat trying to cope with stress, boredom, confusion, or overwhelm.
But because cats communicate differently, their signals get misread.

What looks like spite or sass is often anxiety.

What feels like stubbornness is really a lack of confidence or clarity.
Inside my work as a cat behaviourist, this is one of the most powerful shifts I teach:

When you stop trying to correct and start trying to decode, everything changes.
You don’t need more products or punishment.
