🐾 Keep Your Pets Safe This Easter! 🍫🚫
Easter treats may be fun for us, but they can be dangerous for pets! Keep these safety tips in mind:

🐶 Chocolate is Toxic – Even small amounts can cause vomiting, increased heart rate, and seizures in pets.

🐱 Beware of Xylitol – This sugar substitute, found in sugar-free candy and gum, can cause dangerous drops in blood sugar.

🐾 Watch Out for Wrappers & Plastic Eggs – Curious pets may chew on foil wrappers, fake grass, or plastic eggs, leading to choking or digestive issues.

🌸 Keep Treats Out of Reach! Store candy securely and check your yard after egg hunts to make sure no sweets are left behind.

Here is a friendly reminder to start your pets flea and tick prevention if you have not already. Always remember to check over your pets after being outside. Do not forget to check under collars, between toes and around ears too!

Even our sweetest, most loving pets can become frightened and unpredictable when they're hurt. This April, let's talk pet safety! Pain and fear can change their behavior, making it crucial to handle injured pets with extra care and caution. Keep both you and your furry friend safe by:

- Resist the urge to hug them (we know it's hard!)
- Always keep your face away from their mouth
- Don't try to move them alone - get help when possible

Remember: An injured pet may not recognize their own family members when they're scared and in pain. Your safety matters too! Seek emergency vet care immediately if your pet is injured. 🐾
