Foster mom Carrie has been keeping us updated on Dawson who is feeling oh so much better after his dental surgery last week🥰. And yes, we have soo many folks to thank!
To everyone who so thoughtfully made a financial donation towards Dawson’s tooth fairy fund, thank mew! To all of our bakers who made delicious sweet treats, to every one who came out in support and to Pet Valu Bowmanville Clarington Centre for hosting this delicious bake sale, we are grateful! $440 was raised from the bake sale plus all of your generous donations, Dawson’s tooth fairy fund fully covered his surgery and ALL of his medical expenses. The additional donations were allocated to our critical care fund, so that we may help more in need🤩
Our thanks also to The Kibble Project (and their volunteers) who generously provided a truckload of food to keep the BCC kitties tummies full.
To put things into perspective, prior to the start of spring 2025’s kitten season, we were providing care to 192 deserving kitties comprised of our foster kitties (short/long term/medical and forever) as well as our much adored colony cats. With kitten season in full swing, our numbers have increased significantly over the past couple of weeks with the arrival of many moms and kittens, moms-to -be and orphaned kittens.
In partnership with Phoenix Rising Cat Rescue, our collective work continues assisting more than 30 cats and kittens on several properties including Lindsay, Cannington, Sunderland, Woodville, Beaverton and Uxbridge. As a matter of fact, another four new faces joined our family today!
Speaking of partnerships, we are thrilled to formally announce that you will once again be seeing the adorable feline faces & paws of BCC’s cats and kittens at Toe Beans Cat Cafe. Later this week, four new arrivals will be making their debut at TBCC, as they fulfill their dreams of finding their Purrfect Forever Families ❤️
