With gratitude to Chewy for the lovely flower arrangement. Chewy was our go to for Shadow's medications, supplements, orthopaedic beds...you name it. Why give a billionaire more of your money when there are companies like Chewy that actually care about their customers? This was an incredible gift and so personal. Makes our sad hearts smile.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Shadow's wake. We raised over $150 in cash donations, as well as peanut butter, treats, pumpkin, toys and food for dogs at the MDSPCA.

From picture frames, photo mugs, etched glass photos of Shadow, beautiful plants and personalized windchimes, we are touched by your thoughtfulness.

We had over 20 people come celebrate Shadow's life and he would have enjoyed all of the opportunities to catch grilled chicken pieces falling from your plates. You all are a blessing.

Shadow, we miss you terribly you little rascal.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. I am there now. With heartfelt thanks to Dr. Carrie Hart of Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice, the brave staff of Hunt Valley Animal Hospital, my favorite store, PetSmart, my favorite food and nutrition from Blue Buffalo and Mars Petcare US and BarkBox and Zesty Paws, and to my family, followers and friends who followed along with me for 16 years. With gratitude to the Maryland SPCA for matching me with my pack. Thanks for everything. I had a wonderful time.
