This is a courtesy post for an owner who needs to find a home for her cat named Finn. He is not with our rescue.

“Finn is an 11 year old orange domestic shorthair, located in Groveland. Finn is a little shy at first, and can take a couple of days to get used to a new location, but once he feels comfortable, he is the most affectionate and cuddly boy. He loves any toy with string, and now that he is getting older spends most of his time napping. He is also a big fan of wet food, and human pizza (don't worry, he never gets any, but few times he has gotten very close haha). He is up to date on all of his vaccines, neutered, and has had the same home for over 10 years. He would be best suited for a family with no children or older children that don't require as much one-on-one attention, as he loves attention and to be close with his humans. He is truly the sweetest and kindest boy, and our family wants nothing more than for him to find a home that he can truly get all of the attention he deserves. “

Look who found her fur-ever home!

My beautiful and sweet Casey went to her new home today! Having fostered her and her siblings for 9 weeks, you really get attached, and her being the last to get adopted, gave me even more time with her. The longer you care for them, the harder it is to let them go. But the whole point of rescue is to help them get healthy and socialized so that they have a chance at a beautiful and long life!

Happy life to my sweet, cuddly girl! I’m going to treasure you and your siblings, Jacey, Lacey and Gracey, fur-ever!!!

11 wk old female kitten up for adoption!

I hope someone applies for Casey soon before I end up keeping her myself! She’s an amazing kitten! She will follow you around, greet you at the door, will jump in your lap, lay in your arms to take her naps, and go to sleep at night curled near you. She’s great with dogs and cats and people!
You really can’t find a nicer and well socialized kitten than her!

🚨**URGENT NEEDS RESCUE PLACEMENT BY 5PM THURSDAY JUNE 12TH**🚨

NIKO - This dog is a neutered male. This dog is currently located in CLINIC. This dog weighs approximately 61.0 lbs.,is 5Y and has not been tested for heartworm disease. This dog is being posted to rescue due to other reasons.

***NEEDS PLACEMENT BY THURSDAY 6/12 EOD***

Meet Niko! He has a chip that we are researching, but have not been able to contact the owner thus far. If we cannot make contact, he does need rescue placement by Thursday end of day, as he came in after he was supected to be hit by a car. He has lung changes on xrays and we suspect pulmonary contusions. He is friendly. OCAS is trying to find his owner but let us know if you can help him!

Beautiful Charlie is not with our rescue, but we were asked to help find her a home, so without further adieu, here’s Charlie!

This is from the woman who took her in after her neighbor left him behind.

“About a month ago, my neighbor decided to move out and leave behind Charlie, a 1 year old pup that she had just adopted from the Orange County Shelter. I took her in with the intention of finding her a family. I am new to the country and have not found out about these resources until now. I've been trying to post on social media so far, with no luck.

Charlie is a 1 year old (approximately) female, spayed, vaccinated (I know because the neighbor sent me a picture of her record when she adopted her). She is great with other dogs and people, she's great with kids too. Charlie is super active and needs someone who will take her on frequent walks.

I have taught her how to come here, sit and stay. I've also been trying to potty train her as she was not trained before. I have also given her a much needed bath and cut her nails, as well as given her a dewormer. She is about 40lb.

I am unable to keep her because I have a 120lb Cane Corso that cannot keep up with her activity level and injured his knee. We need him to stay calm to avoid surgery.

I am reaching out in order to ask for assistance and place Charlie in a family that will actually take care of her, not like her last one. “
