She laid two more after the initial ones we found, bringing the total to 7! 😍 They're not the most perfect eggs, but we believe this is her first successful clutch. She laid a single slug earlier this year, so we're ecstatic at these!

Pytas Carinata are primarily wild caught. I know of two breeders that successfully breed them in captivity, and hopefully we'll be #3 so these beauties can stay in the wild and we can have healthy captive bred babies in the hobby.

PTYAS CARINATA EGGS

Six promising little plump eggs (the top two are a little iffy maybe). Now we put them in the incubator and we HOPE! If you know anything about Keeled Ratsnakes, you know this is huge.

Sorry for the lack of posts here. We lost one of our dogs and lost the clutch of VBB eggs so we haven't been super active.

BUT we're hoping to get some eggs from our Pytas Carinata soon. 🤞🏻 I'm going to try to be more active on here, trying to get out of the funk we've been stuck in.
