Yoda’s a 12-year-old Domestic Shorthair and the loyal sidekick of one of our Customer Service team members. His favorite part about Koala? His human works from home — meaning unlimited pets, whenever he wants them.

We’re all pet people around here, and getting to highlight our team’s furry friends is a very sweet reminder of why we do what we do. 💙

Shining the employee spotlight on Kennie, our Director of Operations!

As a pet parent himself, Kennie joined Koala to help simplify pet healthcare—and he’s been a key part of our mission ever since.

His favorite Koala memory? The holiday season at our Boston office, complete with a potluck, Secret Santa, and an ugly sweater party (plus a New Year’s Eve feast of Chinese food!).

When he’s not leading our Operations team at Koala, you’ll find Kennie snowboarding, cooking, or spending time with his wife, friends, and family—including his pets, Luna (a 7-year-old tortie) and Nova (a 5-year-old Aussie/Husky mix).

Koala is better because of you. Thanks for everything you do, Kennie!

That’s a wrap on ! Our team traveled from Boston and beyond for our first WVC experience, and we’re heading home feeling so inspired.

From meaningful conversations to hands-on fun, it has been such an incredible few days connecting with the veterinary community in Las Vegas. Huge thanks to everyone who stopped by to chat, learn more about Koala, or just say hello! We’re so glad we got to meet you.

Meet Kaitlyn, our Marketing Specialist at Koala! 🐾
Kaitlyn joined Koala because of our mission and the way we truly care for pets and their people. Her favorite part of the job? Hearing how we’ve made life easier for pet parents by providing the medications pets depend on.

At home, Kaitlyn’s life revolves around her Australian Shepherd, Lulu. She’s on a mission to show her all 50 states—definitely adding that to our dogs’ bucket list!
