Overgrown nails aren’t just a cosmetic issue — they can change how your dog walks, put pressure on their joints, and cause real discomfort.
If you hear clicking on the floor, it’s time for a trim ✂️
Short nails = better posture, happier paws, and less pain.

Limited-Ingredient Isolation Diet (READ THIS FIRST) 🐶⚠️
If your dog has itchy skin, ear infections, or mystery tummy issues, this can help you find the trigger 👇🏽
⚠️ IMPORTANT:
This is a TEMPORARY TEST, not a forever diet.
It is NOT nutritionally balanced and should always be done with your veterinarian’s guidance.
HOW TO DO IT: 1️⃣ Choose ONE protein
(something your dog doesn't normally eat)
2️⃣ Choose ONE simple carb (optional)
(white rice, sweet potato, squash)
3️⃣ Feed ONLY those ingredients
🚫 No treats
🚫 No chews
🚫 No toppers
🚫 No flavored supplements or meds
4️⃣ Keep it boring on purpose
Simple = clear answers
HOW LONG: ⏳ 8–12 weeks
Many dogs improve by weeks 3–4, but stopping early resets the test.
AFTER THE TRIAL: ✔️ Reintroduce ONE ingredient at a time
✔️ Wait 5–7 days between new foods
✔️ Watch for itching, redness, ears, or 💩 changes
This isn’t restriction, it’s information 🕵🏽‍♀️🐾

Fireworks aren’t fun for everyone, especially your dog 🎆🐶
If your pup is afraid, don’t take them around fireworks thinking they’ll “get used to it.” Loud booms can trigger real fear and panic, not exposure therapy.
Instead, distract and support their nervous system:
✔️ Create a calm indoor space
✔️ Use lick mats, chews, or sniff games
✔️ Turn on white noise or the TV
✔️ Stay calm! your energy matters

Safety > celebration.
Your dog doesn’t need to see fireworks to have a good night ❤️

❄️ Know the signs your dog is COLD ❄️
Because if you’re cold… your dog probably is too 🐶💙
Watch for 👀
• Shivering or trembling
• Curling up tight / tucking paws
• Slower walks or stopping suddenly
• Whining, anxiety, or lifting paws
• Cold ears, belly, or nose
💡 Not just small dogs need protection seniors, short-haired pups, and dogs with low body fat feel it too.
A cozy coat, booties, or shorter walks can make all the difference 🧥🐾
When in doubt… layer up.

🧂❄️ No paw balm? Don’t panic.
If you’re rushing out in winter and salt is everywhere, a tiny bit of Vaseline can help in an emergency 🐾🧴
It creates a quick barrier between your dog’s paws and harsh ice melt.
⚠️ Important:
This is a short-term fix only not for daily use.
Always wipe or rinse paws when you get home, and switch back to a dog-safe paw balm ASAP.
Better than bare paws? ✔️
Best long-term solution? Paw balm or boots 👢🐕
Your dog’s feet do a lot protect them. ❤️🐾
