My cellphone is dead as a doornail and luckily somebody came by my house and took me to the library so I could use my laptop there and answer a few quick messages but I probably won't be able to get on again to respond to messages until the power is back on. The electrician is supposed to start working on repairs tomorrow but I don' know exactly how long it will be to have everything up and running. GA. Power has to come out too when the repair is done to hook up the powerline. I'm holding off on scheduling any new pick-up appointments until the power is back on. This is the link to the adoption contract; you can fill that out in the meantime if you haven't already; https://docs.google.com/forms/d/16Xpaxdh4hWp1ooX-fXL6yMcmEX4YpuGzKxNmjJi7RA4/edit?ts=6074b6f6 Thanks in adance for your patience.

Please read the entirety of the contract below before signing. This contract is for adoption of rats solely for the purpose of pet ownership. This contract does not give the signee any right to breed rats adopted from the Rat's Nest Rattery.

Update; my electricity is out entirely and so I can no longer use my computer to log into Facebook, so have been having to use a not very good cellphone. Yesterday and this morning Facebook wasn't letting me log in or even see Facebook because it was telling me I had to verify a code on my computer to "allow" this device access. Finally I was able to get back in, but I don't know if it will stay that way.

It's looking like I won't have power again in the house until at least Monday, and possibly later depending on the cost and availability of contractors. I had one guy come out and look and he said it might be a complicated job requiring more than just an electrician.

The house is very dark, so it is hard to see the rats. I'm using a flashlight. I have one more person coming to pick up theirs tomorrow afternoon.

I just want to let people know that I'm dealing with an emergency and I may not be checking messages as often as usual unil this is fixed so that I don't lose communication entirely. With all the rain a big limb fell on my power line tonight and it's hanging by a thread. I'm waiting for GA. Power to send a technician to secure it and then will need to find an electrician, as my power has been going in and out. All arranged rat pick-ups are still on, as scheduled. Please know if you PM me that I'll return messages as soon as I'm able. Thanks in advance for your patience.

Sherpa's babies are now almost 4 weeks old and super cute. I have both standard-coated and Bristle-coated Siamese available; 3 females and 2 males.

The two Black Bristle-coated Silvermanes are holdbacks.

(Reservations open on Wednesday, June 10th, appointments then being set for pick up for the 20th and later for all 3 litters. Babies from the 3 different litters can be combined since they are so close in age).

I still have Grenadine's litter of Martens and Siamese to update photos of over the next few days.

Update on Winnie X Mango's Litter; now 3 weeks old; Date of birth; 5/11/2026.. (I'm posting photos of both males and females in the same post because now they've reduced the number of posts you can pin from 5 to 3).
There are 16 babies in all; 4 females, and 12 males, all top-eared;
* 7 Bristle-coats (4 male, 3 female)
* 9 standard coats (8 males, 1 female varihooded with headspot)

Officially opening up reservations on Wednesday, June 10th, and will then be making appointments for Saturday, June 20th and later for all 3 of my current litters since they were born just a day or so apart). Updated photos of the other 2 litters will be posted over the next few days.

Please go ahead and PM me for the adoption contract to start the process if interested in these or the others (or a combination of both).

Here is Sherpa X Birch's litter, now almost 2 weeks old. Their eyes are just starting to open.

There are 7 babies in all; 3 males and 4 females. 4 are bristle-coated and 3 standard coated.

The two that I thought were just black at first turned out to be Black Silvermanes. If you look closely you can see the characteristic silver facial markings around their noses and a sprinkling of silver on some other areas of their coat. The rest are Siamese!

These will be 6 weeks old and ready to go on Wednesday, June 21, 2026.

Winnie has 16 babies; born 5/11/26; 1 week old yesterday. There look to be 13 males and only 3 females. These may be Fawn or Lavender, as there is both in the line. Depending on the lighting some of these look more orange or look more bluish. Their color will be better defined as they get older as it can sometimes change quite a bit over time.

They will be 6 weeks old and ready to go on June 22, 2026. Please follow my page for updates as they grow, and PM me for the adoption contract if interested in some of these.
