Jersey Wooly Nationals are in the bag. We want to thank the Ohio Jersey Woolly club for all their hard work in hosting the show and speciality on Saturday.

Amelia’s rabbits did really well, earning two firsts, a second and a third, with a Best of Tan group win by 3Roses’/Ayers’ HORACE. They went on to win two Best Opposite of Group wins in the JW speciality show (3Roses’/Ayers’ BISCUIT (shaded) and HORACE).

Today, we stayed in Canton for the Hall of Fame shows. I lost track but she had two or three rabbits on the table for each Best of Breed selection.

Amelia had a super day at the SRCBA Torts and Tulips show. Under Mark Jacobs in the Jersey Woolly Youth Specialty, 3Roses’/Ayers’ Biscuit won BOB and 3Roses’/Ayers’ Bonnet won BOS. For Youth Show A under Joey Martin, BOB went to Bonnet and BOS went to 3Roses’/Ayers’ Horace. For Show B under G. Joseph Colucci, Darwin’s REW doe took BOB and BOS went to Biscuit.

Amelia and I attended the shows in Canton this weekend. Together they added up to 6 shows: 2 specialties and 2 ARBA youth all breed double shows. 3Roses/Ayers HORACE racked up 3 Best Opposite Of Breed wins plus a Best of Breed (awarded by Jeremy Watmuff). 3Roses/Ayers ANNABELLE LEE won a BOB (awarded by Amanda Hutcheson). We want to thank the judges, the host clubs and the Ohio Jersey Woolly Rabbit Club for making the 6 hours of driving pay off.

We had a very nice show on December 20 at the Central States Nomads show in Springfield. 3Roses'/Ayers Annabelle Lee won BOB in Show B and BOS in Show C. 3Roses'/Ayers Horace won BOB in Show C. Congrats to Darwin Early for his BOB and BOSs.

I'm really behind on posting Convention results. Amelia took 5 rabbits and came home with 3 firsts, 1 second, and 1 fifth, plus BOSG shaded. She also received her 2024-2025 Sweepstakes Awards: fifth Youth Award of Excellence, sixth (tie) Rabbit of the Year and District 8 first place.

I want to thank Laura Ayers for everything. She fed for Amelia while Amelia had to go to school and she co-bred all 3 of our first place winners. We are very thankful for her help.

We enjoyed our day at the Portsmouth RBA show at Piketon. Shout out to the show committee (Dalene Semones Jackson) for helping us out. There were only 2 youth and 2 open competitors, so we moved the kids to open. 3Roses’/Ayers’ HORACE won Best of Breed in both shows, while Best Opposite went to 3Roses’/Ayers’ ANNABELLE LEE in Show A under Amanda Hutcheson and 3Roses’ PANSY in Show B under Kristi Adeleke.

We attended the Knox county show today to help raise funds for fair rabbit cages. In youth show C, 3Roses’ PANSY won best opposite s*x under Terry Fender . In youth show D, 3Roses’/Ayers’ ANNABELLE LEE won best of breed under Dr. Chris Heyhow and some nice remarks from Amanda Hutcheson following the best in show competition.

3Roses’ Rabbitry had a great day at Wapakoneta for the Lima RBA show. In the youth Jersey Wooly Specialty, 3Roses’/Ayers’ Horace won BOB. In the regular youth show A, Horace won BOS. In show B, 3Roses’ Pansy won BOS. Many thanks to the judges and the organizers for a great show.
