We had a very nice show on December 20 at the Central States Nomads show in Springfield. 3Roses'/Ayers Annabelle Lee won BOB in Show B and BOS in Show C. 3Roses'/Ayers Horace won BOB in Show C. Congrats to Darwin Early for his BOB and BOSs.

I'm really behind on posting Convention results. Amelia took 5 rabbits and came home with 3 firsts, 1 second, and 1 fifth, plus BOSG shaded. She also received her 2024-2025 Sweepstakes Awards: fifth Youth Award of Excellence, sixth (tie) Rabbit of the Year and District 8 first place.

I want to thank Laura Ayers for everything. She fed for Amelia while Amelia had to go to school and she co-bred all 3 of our first place winners. We are very thankful for her help.

Having a good time at the Diamond in the Hare Halloween show. In Youth Show B, Best Opposite S*x went to 3Roses/Ayers ANNABELLE LEE under Terry Fender and in Show C, Best Opposite S*x went to 3Roses/Ayers HORACE under Kristi Adeleke.

We enjoyed our day at the Portsmouth RBA show at Piketon. Shout out to the show committee (Dalene Semones Jackson) for helping us out. There were only 2 youth and 2 open competitors, so we moved the kids to open. 3Roses’/Ayers’ HORACE won Best of Breed in both shows, while Best Opposite went to 3Roses’/Ayers’ ANNABELLE LEE in Show A under Amanda Hutcheson and 3Roses’ PANSY in Show B under Kristi Adeleke.

We attended the Knox county show today to help raise funds for fair rabbit cages. In youth show C, 3Roses’ PANSY won best opposite s*x under Terry Fender . In youth show D, 3Roses’/Ayers’ ANNABELLE LEE won best of breed under Dr. Chris Heyhow and some nice remarks from Amanda Hutcheson following the best in show competition.

3Roses’ Rabbitry had a great day at Wapakoneta for the Lima RBA show. In the youth Jersey Wooly Specialty, 3Roses’/Ayers’ Horace won BOB. In the regular youth show A, Horace won BOS. In show B, 3Roses’ Pansy won BOS. Many thanks to the judges and the organizers for a great show.

To wrap up fair week, Amelia won 15 year old rabbit showmanship and placed third overall in Senior showmanship.

Since we don’t have an alpaca page, I’ll post those achievements here. Amelia won her skillathon age group and top Senior competitor. She won second place in Senior alpaca showmanship, placed third in obstacle and public relations, and second in Senior costume. Her costume was titled “What happens in Vegas…”. Finally, her alpaca fiber felt painting just sold at auction.

We’re always so busy fair week that posts come out late and several pictures just weren’t taken. Amelia started Saturday by being crowned Senior Rabbit Ambassador. She won her age group (Top 10% award) for Skillathon and Senior Outstanding Project Book.

Her Jersey Woolies took first and second (we’re allowed 2 bucks, 2 does) across the board. BOB went to 3Roses/Ayers Annabelle Lee and BOS to her litter mate Horace. Clark County boasted more Woolies this year than I recall (yay Woolies!)

There were enough Holland Lops to split them into solids and brokens. 3Roses Robyn won BOB on the Holland Lop table (we brought 1 HL of each s*x), while Hartman Legacy’s C**t got a second in solid bucks.

Great ‘80s themed show today by the Lima Rabbit Breeders club. 3Roses’ St Steven’s Day won Youth Best Opposite S*x in the Ohio Jersey Wooly Rabbit Club specialty and in the regular Show A. Congrats to Heidi Bennett and her REW doe for their Best in Show later in the afternoon.

Fabulous weekend at the OSRBA Mini Convention. On Saturday, 3Roses’/Ayers’ BISCUIT won youth Jersey Wooly Best of Breed in Show A and 3Roses’/Ayers’ HORACE won BOB in Show B. Sunday, 3Roses’ ST. STEPHEN’S DAY won BOB in the Youth Ohio Jersey Wooly Rabbit Club Specialty and HORACE won Best Opposite S*x in OSRBA Show C. Congrats to all the winners at this 100th Mini Convention.
