I am no longer able to take any new dog clients. My name is Emily. I began professionally pet sitting in 2013. My business is named after my precious Hezzie who passed in 2016 after a vibrant 23.5 years of life. I provide competent loving care for your pet(s) in the comfort of their own home. I am only accepting new cat or other small animal (bird, rabbit, reptiles, chickens, fish, etc) clients. I

am no longer accepting new dog clients. PRICING:

$15 (Quick Visit) / $20 (20 minute visit) / $25 (30 minute visit)

*If a visit exceeds 30 minutes, there may be an additional fee based on the reason needed. (I do not charge fees for after hours, weekends, holidays, additional pet fees, dispensing medication, or cancellation fees with more than 24-hour notice). SERVICES OFFERED:

Initial Meet & Greet (free of charge)- meeting you and your pet(s), Q & A, walking through your preferred method of care, completing a contract, and obtaining a key (or access) to your home.
*If a trial run is needed it will be charged as a regular visit.
*If additional meetings are needed it will be charged as a regular visit. Away / Vacation Care- all that you need me to do for your pet(s) and your home while you are away. Services include feeding, fresh water, dispensing medication, scooping litter, treats, snuggles / love, accident cleanup, mail retrieval, package pick-up, alternating lights, watering inside and outside plants, weekly trash / recycle curb service, temperature control, and final visit cleanup. Pet Transportation- daycare, vet visits (regular & emergency), grooming, or other needs

Hospice Care- going the extra mile with love, care, and discernment giving all that your pet needs in their final days

Rainbow Bridge Care (free of charge)- accompanying you and your pet for their final vet visit and staying with your pet (if you are unable) while they cross the bridge

My coverage area includes Winston-Salem, Lewisville, Clemmons, Pfafftown, and Bethania

My goal has always been your happiness and I have always shared my personal life in reference to how that affects the business. Unfortunately due to my ongoing health issues I have had to make some very hard decisions for 2025. I am making changes however not every client will be affected by these changes.

Please understand that I have thought long and hard before making these decisions. This is definitely not what I desired for the future of the business.

I am contacting every client individually no matter whether or not the changes affect you. I have contacted some of you already but if you haven't heard from me yet, please be on the lookout for correspondence from me via text or email.

Changes Effective 1/1/2025:

1. I am no longer walking dogs. This does not include taking a leashed dog out to the yard to potty (if there is no fence) or for a short distance on the road to potty.

2. I am no longer accepting any new dog clients. I am currently still accepting new cat and other small pet clients (bird, rabbit, reptiles, chickens, fish, etc) but that will likely cease at the end of 2024 / first couple months of 2025.

3. As discussed in the August 2024 email, some of the pricing will change however the information guide I sent in that email will not be accurate due to the changes listed in this email.
This includes the elimination of the 45 minute visit (mentioned in 8/2024). The potty break visit has also been eliminated, being replaced with the quick visit. There will no longer be an additional pet fee for families of more than 2 pets. I do not charge fees for after hours, weekends, holidays, dispensing medication, or cancellation fees with more than 24-hour notice. You can make changes to your visit lengths at any time. (This will be something I ask in the individual correspondence to you.)

4. These services will remain available to current clients but are no longer available to potential new clients: medical recovery care, back-up pet sitting services, house sitting, errand services, and plant care services.

5. I am no longer able to cover pet sitting services in King, Rural Hall, Walkertown, or the 27105 zip code for current clients. This breaks my heart and I truly apologize for the inconvenience I know this will cause. I never ever thought I would have to give up active clients. I have spoken to most of you already but I have pet sitting referrals, if desired, to help you find a new sitter.

5. Cat clients- If there is no medical need for a specific visit time, I need flexibility for the time of the visit(s).

6. Cat clients- If you are taking a vacation for more than one week, I will need to add additional visits or do longer visits (depending on your current choice of visit time) sporadically throughout your trip. I typically see the stress in cats increase the longer their parent(s) is gone. (Dog clients have a minimum of three visits a day and therefore this tends to be less of an issue.)

***If you no longer desire to use my pet sitting services could you please send me a text or email reference to that. No explanation needed. No hard feelings.

Important Info:

1. Days Off for the rest of 2024 and for 2025:
December 13-15 (sister time for Christmas)
December 24 after 12pm-December 25 at 12pm (my Christmas)
June 16-25 (mission trip- may have to cancel due to health issues)
October 3-5 (my birthday)
December 12-14 (sister time for Christmas)
December 24 @ 12pm-December 25 @ 12pm (my Christmas)

I will, as always, do my job to the best of my ability. I appreciate your patience as I navigate my path through these chronic health issues. I appreciate your time. I appreciate your trust in my care of your pets.

Beautiful last day of October 🎃🎃

It's been a busy past week. I've been helping out some community members with their cat colony (with the help of Kevin Beroth ). Lots of information collected. Sifting through Lewisville's bulky item pick up for things that can be used for winter cat houses. Delivering 80 lbs of food and 2 bales of straw (in addition to the "cat houses"). Finding a sick baby kitten and taking it to the vet. Currently nursing it back to health.
These kitties need homes. They need to be fixed in order for the colony to shrink in size. These are "bios" written by the family that are currently taking care of the cats outside. There are more than just the ones pictured. I am just going off the information provided.
Please share if you can. Please help us help these kitties in need. 🙏🙏❤️🐾🐾

Looking for any information I can get on support in the area for a cat colony. They are being fed. Needing information in reference to getting them fixed (some of them will have to be trapped while others are friendly) and / or finding them homes. There are two injured adults and two kittens with upper respiratory infections otherwise the rest seem healthy. Also any houses for winter shelter whether it's old dog houses or litter boxes or trash cans.
