Today was another great day in Lawrence, KS at the Giddy up cluster.

Luccheses was best of breed today over a special for 2 pts! Thank you judge Linda Hurlebaus for the compliments!

Shaker earned a group 3 from John Cole!

The others had a very good time showing in freezing cold temperatures showing only under cover.

My first day at Kansas City and Leavenworth Kennel Club was worth coming to.

Scout was best of breed in a lovely line up of brittany, thank you judge Sherry Webster for recognizing this typey girl!

New kid Tony the Dalmation knocked it out of the park his first dog show ever and was winners dog and best of winners! Thank you judge Nancy Hafner!

We had 6 shows at the Indy Winter Classic including the Sporting Dog specialty.

Scout was Best of breed once and Best op 4 times in a lovely lineup of Brittany.

Shaker was Best of breed 3 times, Best op twice and select once. He showed great on AKC TV on Saturday!

Luccheses started out the weekend great with winners for a major. She then picked up 2 reserve winners the rest of the weekend! She did great for just starting out her show career!

This year we had different goals than our previous years (which was more class dog focused).

We started the year with Shaker winning his first group placement with me at Des Moines and #1 all breed WPG!
He racked up 16 group placements including a group 1! He also won a coveted Best in Specialty Show and best in Supported entry. He finished his bronze and silver grand Ch! This beautiful boy surpassed my dreams by finishing in the top 5 breed and all breed and getting his invite to Westminster!

Scout joined our team in May and pulled a group 2 her first day out after finishing her Master Hunter title the weekend before. She finished the year with 6 group placements, and should end up easily in the top 15 or 20 in both breed and all breed! She also was best of breed at a sipported entry! While she didn't get an invite to Westminster Jody Kirtley and I decided she needed a chance to strut her stuff there! She has been Such a challenge and delight to show!

Shocker joined our team periodically and finished her Grand and his Bronze Grand Champion titles! He also won best Op and an AOM during nationals week and won his first group 2 the weekend before! He was also ways such a fun and joyful boy to show!

My first foray into Long Coat Chihuahua was a delight! Little Luke managed his Ch and Grand before he even turned 8 mo old! That was the best "training" trip out I think he could have gotten!

I have loved the Labs from Michaela Wille ! Wizard, Amber and Secret have all been so sweet! All of them earned points and Secret is nearly pointed out along with so many compliments including a best of breed win over specials!

I also finished Jr (MAS) and Cadance (MAS)!

Kiki Dee (MAS), Hazel (bracco) and Reba (Pumi) finished their Grand Champion!

We loved going to so many new places including the national dog show in Oaks, PA, Michigan, Wisconsin and more!

Finally I bred my very first bred-by litter and have had the pleasure of starting Cobalt in life and in the ring. He went home to grow up and decide what he is going to do in life. Twist has continued to love her life of performance with Chrystal N Dave Beck and will hit the conformation ring some time next year. The other puppies have made fabulous and much loved pets!

Thank you to all my clients and supporters! I couldn't do this without you. Thank you for trusting me with your dogs. I love making each one a part of my family while I have them.

Starting January 1, 2025 the AKC is implementing a new policy for “Agents”- to be listed in the catalog as an Agent, we must have an “Agent Number” which is assigned upon completion of the Stewards of Children course by Darkness to Light. For my current and future clients, please list my Agent number when completing your entries. My agent number is: GNT0020
