A 4-year-old Staffordshire Terrier mix (37 pounds) with the cutest little legs, a round belly, and a heart FULL of love.

I’m an energetic, playful, affectionate girl who lives for people. Seriously… if you sit down, I’m already there ready for snuggles 🛋️💞 I love kisses, praise, belly rubs, and following my humans from room to room like your loyal little shadow.

I’m also a very good girl in the house ✨

✔️ Potty trained
✔️ House trained (no destruction here!)

I enjoy long walks, playing fetch in the yard, and then wrapping myself up like a cozy burrito in blankets 🌯🧣 After playtime, I’m happiest curled up right next to you.

I’d do great in a big, loving family with lots of kids 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦💖 I love attention and would thrive in a home with a fenced yard, kids of all ages.

I’m still learning some manners on walks 🦮
I get very excited (because life is exciting!!!) which can mean pulling, playful leash biting, and enthusiastic barking. I’m super friendly, but sometimes my excitement gets misunderstood, so I need a patient, confident family who’s committed to continuing my training and helping me build calm walking skills. I’m working on “sit” too — I promise I’m trying! 🧠✨

One more thing — I’m a great alert dog 🏡

💔 13 MORE ANIMALS INTAKED IN JUST THE LAST TWO DAYS 💔
And every single one of them has a story that led them here… 🐾

Scarlet, Bailey, and Bilius were owner surrenders. Their previous owner is in the military and heartbreakingly could not afford to fly them with him. 💔
Bilius is in desperate need of weight loss and is severely overweight. 🩺🐶

Blue and Bingo were found as strays, trying to survive on their own. 🌎

Ophelia and Amber were also found as strays and had to be trapped just to get them to safety. 😔 They were scared, confused, and had nowhere to go.

Chief was found as a stray too. His finders searched and searched for an owner and did everything they could, but they could no longer keep him. 💔 They asked us to step in, get him vetted, and help him find a real forever home. 🐾

Jett was adopted from us a year ago, but was unfortunately returned. There were bite incidents involving a child in the home due to lack of boundaries being set, and Jett paid the price for that. 😞 This is a heartbreaking reminder of how important proper structure and education are.

Bailey’s 96-year-old owner is battling serious health issues and could no longer care for him. 💔

Constantine was bought from a breeder as a surprise gift… and the wife did not want a dog. 😔 This is exactly why we DO NOT ALLOW SURPRISE ADOPTIONS. Animals are lifelong commitments, not gifts.

Pikachu and Charmander came from a home where animals were being bred over and over again. 🚫 The owner refused to spay and neuter the parents, so these babies were brought to us to break that cycle. 🐕✨

This is the reality we face every single day.
13 lives. 13 stories. 13 mouths to feed, vet, house, and heal. 🐾💔

Our MFP family is stretched thin, but we will never turn our backs on them. 🤍🐶🐱

This kind of grassroots support truly changes lives. Every donation made through these Angel Trees helps provide food, medical care, and comfort for animals who are waiting for their second chance. 💚🐾

💛 Meet Daisy 💛

Daisy is a 2-year-old mixed breed who was pulled from the county shelter by a volunteer just in time to save her life. Thanks to the incredible work of volunteers and a supportive community, Daisy was given the opportunity to spend 8 full weeks at Alpha Basic Training. This photo is from her arrival — happy, hopeful, and ready to get to work! 🐶✨

Like so many dogs, Daisy has been failed by humans. She has never known true consistency or safety and was abused as a puppy. Despite all of this, Daisy still believes in people and deserves a permanent home where she will be loved, respected, and protected 💔➡️❤️

Daisy does come with challenges, all of which are actively being addressed through training. She will need:
🐾 An adult-only home (older teens may be okay)
🐾 No cats or small animals
🐾 Consistency between handlers to truly thrive
🐾 A home willing to follow her clear, structured training program designed specifically for her

She is dog selective and would do best with a calm, easygoing dog companion. Daisy has some stranger danger, so slow introductions with multiple meet-and-greets are recommended. A low-traffic home is ideal, though she crates well when company is over.

Once you’re in Daisy’s circle, you’re in for life 🫶 She is loyal, loving, and deeply devoted to her people. Daisy is the kind of dog who is absolutely worth every ounce of patience and effort it takes to earn her trust.

💚🐶 UPDATE ON CLEMENTINE 🐶💚

We are SO happy to share the best kind of update 😭✨

Clementine was found severely emaciated and left behind on the streets, injured and in pain after being dumped and forgotten 💔 Her front paw appeared broken, and her story reminded us so much of Muddy’s — another baby who was failed but fought so hard to survive.

Today, Clementine is doing absolutely amazing. From a broken, hurting girl 💔 to a happy, thriving pup living life to the fullest — this sweet baby has come such a long way 🐾💚

She is comfortable, loved, and SO happy, and it shows in every wag, every smile, and every moment she gets to just be a dog again 🐶✨ Watching her heal and blossom has been incredibly special for all of us.

We want to say a huge THANK YOU to every single person who donated, shared her story, sent love, and helped make her recovery possible 🙏💚 And the biggest thank you to her amazing fosters for stepping up, opening their hearts and home, and taking such incredible care of her 🏡🐾

Appa came to us as an owner surrender alongside Nala, a pittie 💔🐶 Not knowing what the future would hold is never easy, but this sweet boy’s story took the most beautiful turn💛

We are SO happy to say that Appa has officially found his forever home 🏡💫 He is being spoiled endlessly (as he deserves!) and is absolutely loving life with his new family 🥰 He adores his human little siblings, is soaking up every moment of boat life 🚤🌊, and even has a furry sibling to splash and play in the water with 🐕💦

Thank you so much to Appa’s new family for choosing adoption and opening your hearts and home to him 💛🐾 This is what happy endings are made of ✨

🌟 WELCOME TAZ 🌟
Because sometimes the dogs who need us the most… are the ones who have been misunderstood the longest. 💔

Taz is a 4-year-old, 8 lb little guy who was transferred to PRC from another shelter due to concerns with handling and stress. Despite everything he’s been through, when he’s given time, space, patience, and trust, Taz shows who he truly is — a sweet, playful, affectionate boy with a heart that wants to connect. 🥺❤️

When he feels safe, Taz:
🐶 Wags his tail
🐾 Does zoomies
💛 Rolls on his back
🫶🏼 Solicits gentle attention
🐕 Play bows
✨ Settles calmly near people he trusts

He gently paws for comfort, quietly whimpers for reassurance, and truly wants to bond. But life hasn’t always been kind to him.

Taz struggles when he feels pressured, restrained, or overwhelmed. Leashing and certain kinds of touch are still hard for him, and when he gets scared, he may react defensively to protect himself. With calm, low-pressure handling, predictable routines, and understanding — he does beautifully. He even tolerated sedation for grooming with no reaction when handled correctly.

Taz doesn’t need punishment.
Taz doesn’t need someone to “fix” him.
Taz needs someone to understand him. 💛

He needs an adopter who:
🐾 Is experienced with behaviorally sensitive dogs
🏡 Can provide a quiet, decompression-focused environment
🕰️ Can go slow and let him build trust at his pace
🌱 Is willing to work with behavior guidance and support

🚨🖤 URGENT HELP NEEDED FOR MUFASA 🖤🚨 EMERGENCY VISIT TO VEG ER. ‼️💔

Our hearts are absolutely shattered right now. 🖤💔
Our beloved Mufasa spent the night in the emergency vet after suffering from uncontrollable vomiting and bloody diarrhea 🤢🩸. He was doing so badly that we truly did not know what was happening to him.

His amazing fosters rushed him to the ER immediately 🚗💨. The vets had to run extensive testing, including X-rays and an ultrasound 🩻🖥️ to make sure he didn’t have a foreign body or something life-threatening inside him.

Mufasa was terrified 😞🖤. Because he is very timid and scared in unfamiliar situations, the vets had to sedate him 😔💉 just to be able to help him safely.

Right now, he is resting 🛌🐾 and on multiple medications 💊💊 to try and stop the vomiting and diarrhea. This is only the beginning — he will need follow-up exams and continued treatment to ensure his wellbeing and survival 🖤🙏.

This single ER visit cost us $1,500 💸💸
➡️ One dog. One emergency visit.
➡️ A dog with NO adoption fee
➡️ A life that still deserves a chance 🖤🐶
