I will be vending the South Georgia Reptile Expo in Fitzgerald, Georgia, this Saturday and Sunday. I will be bringing surplus frozen feeders from my rat shed. If you have lost but regained power, and lost your frozen feeders, I am giving a free bag to those in need. I have very limited supplies, so it will be first come first serve.

Hurricane Helene gave us a glancing blow here in Tifton. The animals and I are all safe, and thankfully there was no damage at the house. We all packed up and sheltered at my office, which thankfully never lost power. I moved the incubating eggs there too and will just keep them there until they hatch, I don't want to move them again. I'm just grateful I have an office to retreat to when weather gets bad, and thankful I have a dog who is happy to be wherever I am, even if she steals the bed.

Fresh shed on this gorgeous little girl. She's an orange dream yellowbelly hypo pied. The exciting thing is that I have ten more eggs in the incubator, with ten more chances of producing hypo pieds!

Some amazing babies crawling out right now! This little girl I believe is an orange dream enchi yellowbelly hypo pied. Her sibling is still in the egg but looks to be a cinnamon fire pied het hypo. This clutch was just four eggs but two had weak veins and died halfway through incubation. This is mom's first clutch, so this happens sometimes.

Pairing was orange dream enchi pied het hypo x fire yellowbelly cinnamon hypo het pied.

This is a pretty neat clutch with some potential world's firsts (if those matter anymore). Pairing was orange dream enchi pied het hypo x jolt pied. Jolt is a relatively new gene discovered by Outback Reptiles, who used pied as their first recessive to throw the gene into. It's in the black pastel/cinnamon/enchi complex. I believe I have produced an orange dream enchi jolt pied possible het hypo, when compared to her orange dream enchi pied possible het hypo sibling.

As a bonus, she's female so she's staying here, but also jolt and enchi are allelic and act as a super, so she will only ever produce enchi and jolt combo babies.

These are pre-shed photos, so we'll see how they look after they shed. I'm still not sure what the other pieds are at this point, other than pretty.

I'm proud of this little girl. She's on the small side, but her father was a second generation visual blue steel. She's a (pastel?) cinnamon pied het hypo. She was paired to my orange dream enchi pied het hypo from Bob Vu. Got five small but healthy eggs from her, nice clutch size for a first timer.

Blue steel animals appear to be all pastel hypo pieds. As they age, the turn this gorgeous steel blue color. We're still not sure how the trait works, only that it appears in some pastel hypo pied lineages. With luck I'll get a baby that eventually turns into one. The color change can take up to six months. Second photo is her father.

I'm very excited about this lock, this is the first copulation for both snakes. Male is an absolute knockout (super?) orange dream enchi yellowbelly hypo pied I produced last year after 15 years of effort (starting with het to het pieds 15 years ago), female is also of my own production and is an enchi mojave pied het hypo. They look like they're still flirting in this photo, but they are fully locked this morning.

This calico female has an awesome black paradox spot on her tail, and she is 50% het for pied to boot! She has a clean white belly, which in my previous experience means she will almost undoubtedly prove to be het pied. Calico is a strong gene to add to any pied project, and this girl is very affordable. Please check out my Morphmarket page for more info!

She does have blackhead in her lineage, so she may also be a low expression blackhead. I cannot guarantee that though.

Whewie it's hot here in south Georgia, and here is a girl who is just as hot. The orange dream enchi hypo het pied must've hatched in a bunch of Carolina reapers because she sure is spicy! If heat is your thing, this is the girl for you!
