Looking like it’s going to be another hot week! ☀️

☀️🐾 Hot Weather Policy Reminder 🐾☀️

As we head into the warmer summer months, your dog’s safety and wellbeing will always come first here at the salon ❤️

When temperatures reach 25°C or above, appointments may need to be:
• moved to an earlier or later time of day
• rescheduled to a cooler day
• or adjusted where possible to reduce heat exposure

This is due to the increased risk of heat stroke, especially for:
🐶 Puppies
🐶 Geriatric/senior dogs
🐶 Dogs with particularly long or thick coats
🐶 Breeds or coats that require long drying times

The combination of warm weather and the heat from grooming dryers can become dangerous very quickly, as well as the risk of traveling your dog too and from the salon either on foot or in a car, and I would always rather rearrange an appointment than put any dog at risk.

Thank you for your understanding, patience, and support as I do everything I can to keep your pups safe and comfortable this summer ☀️💛

Please also remember:
💧 Keep fresh water available at all times
🚶 Avoid walks during the hottest parts of the day
🌳 Seek shade and cool areas whenever possible

🚧 Roadworks Notice 🚧

Hi everyone! Just a quick update to let you know there are currently roadworks in the area, which may cause some delays with drop-offs and pick-ups.

Areas affected:
Coatdyke
Towhead Road
Drumpellier Lochs
Bargeddie

🐾 Drop-offs:
I allow a 15-minute grace period for late arrivals. Unfortunately, if you arrive later than this, the appointment will be classed as missed and a no-show fee will apply.

🐾 Pick-ups:
As I work on a 1-to-1 basis, it’s really important that dogs are collected on time. Late pick-ups can impact the rest of my schedule and other appointments.

I completely understand that the roadworks may cause inconvenience, so please allow extra travel time if you plan on travelling via any of these roads.

I had a lovely and busy first day back today! And looking at my diary it’s going to be another busy year ❤️
If there’s anyone I’ve missed who would like their appointments booked for the year just let me know.

January - fully booked.
February - limited availability left.
Evenings - fully booked for the year.
Weekends - 7 slots left for the year.
August/September - filling up quickly due to holidays.

Hi All! Just wanted to pop in and wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year when it comes!
Thank you all again for an amazing and busy year, I appreciate you all trusting me with your pups and all of your continued support.
Can’t believe I am about to go into my 7th year of grooming and the fact that I’ve known a lot of your little ones for that long is crazy to think about! It’s been lovely to be a part of so many dog’s lives! So thank you all again! ❤️
