Tyler Jackson is a 1 year, 9 month old Canaan mix Dog who has been in the shelter since 4/10/2025. He’s a highly social pup who thrives on human interaction, especially with women, and is happiest when he’s part of an active household. Tyler is housebroken and food motivated, making him eager to learn and easy to train with treats. He’s great with children ages 8 and up, but his high energy and tendency to jump on people mean he’d do best in a home with older kids or teens. Tyler Jackson was tested with our other shelter dogs and appears playful and interested with them.

Tyler absolutely loves toys and enjoys running alongside his owner, making him a perfect companion for someone who enjoys outdoor activities or jogging. Despite his playful nature, Tyler’s long stay in the shelter has started to affect his mental state—he’s showing signs of stress and needs a foster home urgently to help him decompress and regain his confidence. Tyler would thrive in a home that can provide him with plenty of exercise, structure, and affection.
