🩷 Thank you to Dr. Arnold and staff at Colonial Heights Animal Hospital for taking such great care of Yzma! Yzma stopped by so Dr. Arnold could give her a thorough examination! Not only are her eyes affected by corneal ulcers, she does have a genetic bone disorder affecting both front legs. 🩷
🩷 Yzma continues to improve everyday🩷

🩵Sam and Kensi are still waiting for a home. Patience is a virtue with them. Sam will give you his trust more quickly than Kensi. They will be the happiest in a home offering a quiet space to acclimate. Sam was born with a shorter tail than most cats! Kensi would love an owner who can help boost her confidence!🐱

Sometimes, fostering is taking your bottle baby with you when you have other obligations on a Sunday morning! This little gal was kitten-napped by a dog, and the surprised owner woke up to find this little nugget in their home. After being brought to the humane society, she was transferred to Tiny Miracles Kitten Rescue.

The stuffed Snuggle Kitty has a heartbeat sound that relaxes and calms the kitten. ❤🐱❤

🆘 As a 100% foster based organization, we can only say “yes” when we have the foster homes available. With kitten season just at its’ beginning, we are already at capacity for the limited fosters we currently have. This means that if any shelter were to contact us (whether it’s for a nursing momma and her babies to the most vulnerable…orphaned neonates) needing our help, we would unfortunately not be able to help them.
🆘 If you would be interested in fostering, our organization specializes in kittens 6 weeks of age and younger but needs fosters for the following:
🐈‍⬛ Bottle babies
🐈 Weaned kittens
🐈‍⬛ Nursing momma with babies (the partnering facility will take back possession of momma once her kittens are weaned)

It’s been a week since Yzma, Kronk, and Kuzco arrived from Volunteers for Greene County Animal Control TN, and we wanted to share their progress.
💜 Yzma is showing some improvement but still has a bit of a journey ahead. We’re keeping a close eye on her and providing her with all the love and care she needs.
💙 Kronk & Kuzco have officially kicked their URIs and are thriving! They’re gaining weight and even feeling playful.

🐈‍⬛ With kitten season starting off, the first set of “intensive care” kittens has entered the rescue. These 3 were rescued from Volunteers for Greene County Animal Control TN on Saturday morning. They came in with their eyes sealed shut from discharge (which has clearly affected the left eye of the little runt), severely dehydrated, covered in fleas, with horrendous URI (Upper Respiratory Infections) leading to 2 of the kittens already having pneumonia.
🐈‍⬛ The smallest (Yzma) required tube feeding for the first day she arrived and until the strong injection antibiotics kicked in and she was able to start eating on her own the following day. We are unsure at this time on the condition of her eye, but like everything else we do… we are going to give her and her brothers (Kronk & Kuzco) our absolute best care possible!
