HUGE shout out and appreciation for Dennis and Patty Zech of Superior Linen Service in Tacoma for their kind and generous donation of towels and sheets!! 🙏 Please visit them for your cleaning needs at https://www.facebook.com/superiorlinenservice
Their donation of linens to us has already been IMMENSELY helpful with helping with our huge ongoing need of towels for our mass spay neuter runs monthly where we need 2 - 3 towels per kitty, sometimes needing 45+ towels per run and for bathing kittens, feeding bottle babies, and covering carriers. If you have old towels to donate, large or small, we are always appreciative! They can be dropped off at The Barn Nursery (in the garden center area) off Old Hwy 99 or at the Lacey Petsmart (check in with a cashier to let them know and they can be dropped off in the adoption room there). We try to reuse what we can, but sometimes they are too risky to sanitize properly and they go, but we do reuse what we can. We go through so many! Thank you Superior Linens of Tacoma!!!!! These photos are just some examples of what we use so many towels for😻

I’ve been so behind on rescue posting. It’s never ending and is always crazy busy. So appreciate all who came together to help this abandoned mama and little babies find their way to get help!! We are full to the brim and then some, but are working on serving this group properly. I am choosing to use my energy to focus on moving forward to assist this kitty family rather than the details of the findings. Although we work hard to share services and resources, so people have options, we don’t know the specifics of this case, and are not focusing on judgment on the history of before and when and how they were left where they were. They were left with food and water and a small covered shelter area, and we can just be thankful that they appear healthy, although still need to be tested, and the fact that several people and several rescues worked together. The power of the rescue village (which includes any anyone involved, not just specific rescues) and working together positively is a beautiful thing. Everyone is doing great! Mama likes to judge me from afar😹but lets me work with her kittens and check on them as long as I don’t get too close to her. More updates to come on this group!

Update on our kitten that was rescued from the crawlspace, trying to get outside through a metal grate. This is him in his foster home! We gave him a bath and he looks like a superstar now❤️

This little kitten was found underneath a crawlspace trying to get out, from behind a metal grate along the base of the building. We are thinking he likely went under somewhere else and was desperately trying to get out. A kind person saw him and cut the grate to get him out. He was covered in fleas, dirt, and is sick with upper respiratory illness plus I’m sure worms. He is now in a loving foster home and is thriving! His hisses and fearful darting have turned into purring, butt lifts, and seeking attention. So appreciative to the people who found him, rescued him, and reached out to rescue for help🙏

LOVE these updates on our previously adopted kitties!! Please keep them coming❤️😻🥰

These two cuties were found wandering across somebody’s yard. Thankfully, two thoughtful kids caught them and got them to safety. A kind homeowner kept them safe and gave them some food. We were able to connect and we made a vet appointment for them right away to get checked out. So thankful that they were willing to transport for us. Kittens are around four weeks old and healthy! Just needed some deworming, flea control, and a slurry mix of wet food and formula. We picked them up and they are now in great hands with 99 Rescues tonight. It sure takes a village! From the kids that found them and caught them, to the family that took care of them and fed them, then we became a part of their journey, to the vet who confirmed that they are healthy and not dehydrated, and now they have moved on to the care of a rescue that we partner with. These sweet little beings will be raised with care and they will receive all the services they need, including neutering, shots, flea control, testing, microchipping, etc. before being placed in carefully approved homes. So appreciate all who are part of their journey! They will be OK thanks to everyone who took part in their rescue🙏❤️
