時間過得真快，轉眼間ST Pet Oxygen已服務了大家三年多。在這數年間，我們提供的氧氣設備租用服務協助了不少患有心肺疾病的寵物，緩解牠們的呼吸問題。同時也為不少臨終的毛孩減低其缺氧的痛楚，好讓牠們舒適地在家跟主人渡過最後時刻。
現在的主人比我幸運，因寵物氧氣租用服務已大大普及化，可惜在2018年我家愛犬離世時，我卻無法提供這些設備給牠。當時的我不懂，眼巴巴地看著13歲的牠在最後時間缺氧受苦卻什麼也做不到；既不想牠繼續進出醫院被一連串沒結果的醫療程序折騰， 我唯一可以做的就只有一直陪伴著牠直至牠離去，那種撕心裂肺的感受久久也放不下。ST Pet Oxygen的成立當然是要協助寵物，但其實很大程度是為了協助主人。為了不想其他主人經歷同樣的徬徨無助，我們除了提供氧氣設備外，更透過我們網站中的ST Pet Journal宣揚有關知識和資訊。幾年過去了，市場由最早期只有個別愛心人士/小店出租氧氣機予寵物使用，到現在已有不少公司提供全面的寵物氧氣設備租用服務；而寵物主人在這方面的認知亦已大大提升。
隨著這服務在市場上的普及化，而本公司亦有新的業務發展，加上資源和人手上的限制，我們必須作出取捨。ST Pet Oxygen 的氧氣設備租用服務將會停止，由即日起，我們不會再處理新的預訂。但正在租用我們設備的客人可放心繼續使用和續租直到決定把設備退還。
我們不是大公司，只是一個小團隊，能夠在這數年間得到眾多客人的支持和信任，我們團隊真的很感恩。在此我們想感謝每一位用過我們服務的客人，和經常轉介客人給我們的動物醫院、獸醫診所等。能夠在動物社區中作出了一點貢獻和協助到有需要的毛孩和主人，是我們團隊的榮幸，也祝願各位主人和寵物健康愉快!
Time flies and it has been more than 3 years since ST Pet Oxygen started serving the pet community. During these few years, our oxygen equipment rental service has helped many pets that are suffering from cardiovascular/pulmonary issues to improve their breathing; as well as pets that are approaching their end of life to ease their suffocating pain and allow them to spend their final days at home in comfort with their families.
In recent years, pet oxygen services have become much more accessible in the market. Pet owners nowadays are luckier than I was. When my 13-yr-old beloved dog died in 2018, I was unable to provide such equipment to her. I was unknowledgeable about this regard back then, and unable to do anything while witnessing her suffocating in pain. I didn’t want her to go through more meaningless medical procedures & suffer further, so all I could do was bring her home & be with her till she passed away, the devastating heartbreak was unbearable. ST Pet Oxygen was founded with the purpose of helping animals of course, but it is also largely about helping the owners. To keep pet owners from experiencing the same kind of helplessness, apart from providing oxygen equipment, we also educate and promote the knowledge of pet oxygen home therapy through ST Pet Journal on our website. Over the years, the market has grown from some caring individuals renting out oxygen machines for pets in the early days, to now with several companies providing comprehensive pet oxygen equipment rental services. And pet owners nowadays are much more informed in this regard.
Recently, as our company is engaged with some new business development, but with the constraint of limited resources and manpower, we had to make a difficult decision. From now on, we will not process any new rental bookings, and our oxygen equipment rental service will be stopped. However, customers who are currently renting our equipment can continue to use them and renew the rental as long as needed.
As we’re not a big company but a small team, we feel tremendous grateful for the trust and support that we’ve received over the past few years. And we’d like to thank everyone of our customers who have used our service, the animal hospitals and veterinary clinics that trust us & have been referring customers to us. It has been a great pleasure & honor to have made some contribution to the animal community and helped the pets and pet owners in need.
