CLEAR THE SHELTERS DAY is Saturday September 6th!! We are participating and have partnered with and to find Forever Homes for all of our Kitties!

AND we have a Super Duper Amazing Donor who has pledged to cover all Adoption Fees! Applies only to Approved Applications - and all participants must have your applications in by 4pm on September 6th!!

Open House hours on Saturday September 6th will be from Noon to 4pm!!

ADOPTED! We’re still not fans of the term ‘Foster Fail’ because really it’s a WIN all around!! Flow went to stay with her Foster Person right out of Quarantine! They’ve been enjoying each other’s company so much that they decided they wanted to make it official and now they’ve ADOPTED Each Other!! And we couldn’t be happier!!

FOSTERING SAVES LIVES!! Our beautiful boy, Lucky Charm, was stressing and acting out in our shop setting. One of our amazing Volunteers agreed to Foster!! He was immediately Happy!! And my heart is full of Feels!!

Lucky is a great Kitty with lots of Smarts and Energy and full of Love. We’ll never know for certain but he seems to have some Bengal or Savannah genes in him. Lucky is looking for a relatively quiet home with someone committed to Lucky’s enrichment and happiness!

Let’s CLEAR THE SHELTERS on SEPTEMBER 6th!! This Saturday only, we are able to offer ZERO FEE ADOPTIONS (Kittyns are excluded) thanks to a Generous Sponsor!! This event is especially important to us because for EVERY Kitty that we can send HOME we can take another from ACCT!! And EVERY Kitty we take frees up a space for them to save another Kitty!! It’s a WIN WIN WIN event!!

Come by meet the Kittys this Thursday and Friday from 4-6p and Saturday Noon to 4p!! Applications must be received by midnight on September 6th and only Approved Applications will be eligible for the Zero Fee Clear the Shelters sponsorship.

ADOPTED!! If ever anyone at HKK was going to “Foster Fail,” Biggie Smalls was at the top of the list. Everyone, and I mean everyone, loves him. He’s a boyfriend kitty. And the chillest of chills.

He caught the eye of one of our neighbors. She was so excited to bring him Home that she came back early from her vacation!! Biggie will be so very loved and his Foster Momma and HKK Krew will get to see him!! And we couldn’t be happier!!

ADOPTED! Our Little Taco/Taquita waited mostly patiently for her new Forever!

Some of you may remember that Taquita’s family was deported a few months back. Taquita was lucky to have great neighbors that stepped up for the family and Taquita. She was sooooo very scared and afraid when she arrived. But with honey and patience, Taquita came around and earned herself a spot in the rescue “favorites” category.

Taquita was here longer than we imagined, but it was Love at First Sight when her Forever walked through our door!! And we couldn’t be happier!!
