People of Princeton: Angela Lowrance
Angela works tirelessly to help our community furbabies. The compassion she has for these pets is above and beyond. She loves your pet as much as her own and has helped hundreds of dogs and cats, a few birds and horses, and even one hamster find their way back home or help them find new homes. She has also arranged transport by car or plane to South Texas for pets and even up the Rocky Mountain Region. She is tagged on social media many times a day and enjoys helping in any way she can.
Angela has scanned for microchips on deceased pets on the side of the road to give closure to their families. She has a contact who volunteers his time to collect these deceased pets from area roads and take them to the County for proper disposal and dignity.
Angela has spent countless hours researching microchip information and monitoring several community Facebook groups to reunite lost pets with their owners. She has also been involved in setting up and running trapping stations to capture lost pets in survival mode.
Angela does as much as she possibly can without personally taking in these lost pets for shelter.
Angela started Pawsome Purrpaws Rescues with Joy Valdivia in 2022. This rescue is completely funded by donations.
Thank you, Angela, for your dedication to the pets and residents of Princeton.
