People of Princeton: Angela Lowrance

Angela works tirelessly to help our community furbabies. The compassion she has for these pets is above and beyond. She loves your pet as much as her own and has helped hundreds of dogs and cats, a few birds and horses, and even one hamster find their way back home or help them find new homes. She has also arranged transport by car or plane to South Texas for pets and even up the Rocky Mountain Region. She is tagged on social media many times a day and enjoys helping in any way she can.

Angela has scanned for microchips on deceased pets on the side of the road to give closure to their families. She has a contact who volunteers his time to collect these deceased pets from area roads and take them to the County for proper disposal and dignity.

Angela has spent countless hours researching microchip information and monitoring several community Facebook groups to reunite lost pets with their owners. She has also been involved in setting up and running trapping stations to capture lost pets in survival mode.

Angela does as much as she possibly can without personally taking in these lost pets for shelter.

Angela started Pawsome Purrpaws Rescues with Joy Valdivia in 2022. This rescue is completely funded by donations.

Thank you, Angela, for your dedication to the pets and residents of Princeton.

Update 1/18/2025 – Please, Make this update go VIRAL to help us find Bacall.. please share on all social media platforms; FB, Instagram, Nextdoor, Ring Neighborhood, etc. to help us find Bacall !! ❤

7 weeks and counting, without our Bacall.
Apologies for not providing more regular updates, but we've been seriously trying to locate Bacall.

To date, we’ve not had any other confirmed and/or photographic sightings. We really miss her and want her back home. If you have our Bacall, or know where she is, please call 817-300-4586. We have been blessed to have additional donors to help us raise $1000 for the reward for Bacall’s safe return home. NO QUESTIONS ASKED!
.We just want her home.

Our sister rescue Rescue me Meow Meow needs our help! They have taken in so many babies in the last couple of months and are needing some kindness in the form of kitten food and other things. Our village has always shown us their love and support everytime we have needed. Let's help a fellow rescue out
Thank you for your kindness 🙏

FREE FERAL AND COMMUNITY CAT FIX EVENT!!!! 8/28 - TCAP in Allen 😁💕

They are doing it again!!! TCAP in Allen is doing a Free Feral and Community Cat Fix event on 8/28!!!

PLEASE…. If you know you have strays, community cats, semi ferals or ferals….. PLEASE take them to TCAP EARLY on the 8/28 - I was there at 4.30am last time and was 3rd in line! 🤔🤷🏻‍♀️😁

They will fix the first 75 cats in line, as long as they are 3lbs or more, in weight! 😁💕

Cats can be brought in in humane traps or hard sided carriers!

No food after 10pm the night before!

If you don’t have traps, but need them, let me know and I will see what I can rustle up

Any questions, please let me know! If you have cats and are unable to bring them to TCAP, again, let me know as I may be able to borrow a vehicle to carry more cats down there, than I can fit in my own car!!

This is a rare opportunity to get friendlier Community Cats fixed, without an appointment!!! 😁🤞🏻😜

ALL CATS WILL GET EAR TIPPED as this program is for cats that are mainly outside!

Come on folks! Let’s get these cats fixed and be part of the solution, not the problem!!!

Drowning in kittens is not nearly as much fun as it sounds!!! 🤔🤷🏻‍♀️🥺😔😩

TCAP will offer FREE sterilizations & rabies vaccines for feral/community cats on Wednesday, July 31. This event is held at six TCAP clinics: Allen, Arlington, Burleson, Denton, Garland & Ft Worth.

This is our biggest event yet and we want to make a huge impact. 450 cats will be accepted across six locations!

TCAP supports the Feral and Community Cat caregiver community. This is our way of giving back. We recognize the important role trap, neuter, and return (TNR) plays in animal advocacy across North Texas. There is no limit on the number of cats per caregiver and no appointment is required! We will accept the first 75 cats presented at each location. Cats must be presented in a live trap or pet carrier. All cats will receive an ear tip. Ear-tipped cats are treated as feral when seen by a veterinarian for future care and will require sedation.

Notes: Additional fees (such as in-heat, crypt, or pregnancy), will be covered by TCAP. Caretakers will be responsible for additional services they elect at the time of service: additional vaccinations, pain medications, viral testing, etc. Cats must be presented in either live traps or pet carriers.

This event is made possible by a generous grant from MuttNation: https://muttnation.com/
