spay/neuter clinic! 💙

These sweet faces remind us why this work matters so
much. Every surgery means fewer animals in shelters
and more pets living healthy, happy lives with loving
families.

A huge thank you to our incredible veterinary team,
volunteers, and everyone who brought their furry family
members in. Your commitment to responsible pet
ownership makes our community stronger!

🐾 HUGE thank you to for their incredible generosity!

Today we received a donation of 100 slip leads that will make such a difference for the dogs in our care. These high-quality leads will help us safely handle and walk our rescue pups, giving them the exercise and enrichment they need while they wait for their forever homes.

Keep Your Furry Friends Safe This Fourth of July 🎆🐾

While we’re celebrating with fireworks and festivities, our pets may be facing their worst nightmare. Here are the key dangers to watch for:
Fireworks Terror: The loud, sudden noises can send pets into panic mode, causing them to bolt, hide, or even injure themselves trying to escape. More pets go missing on July 4th than any other day of the year.
Toxic Treats: Many Fourth of July foods are dangerous for pets—chocolate desserts, grapes, onions in potato salad, alcohol, and xylitol in sugar-free items can all be toxic or fatal.
Hot Weather Hazards: Summer heat combined with stress can quickly lead to overheating. Hot pavement can burn paw pads, and leaving pets in cars—even briefly—can be deadly.
Dangerous Debris: Firework remnants, glow sticks, and party decorations can cause choking, intestinal blockages, or poisoning if ingested.
Keep Them Safe:
• Create a quiet, comfortable space indoors
• Update ID tags and microchip information
• Consider anxiety-reducing products or calming supplements
• Never leave pets unattended outside during celebrations
• Keep human food and drinks out of reach
Your pets depend on you to keep them safe while you celebrate. A little preparation can prevent a holiday disaster and keep your furry family members happy and healthy.
