A forever home for Candy ---- You are my family.

Many thanks to a senior lady, a writer, who adopted Candy. she came to meet candy at a foster home. Candy gave her a hug. it looked like candy knew he would go to a new home on that day. he can't wait to start a new life. nothing is better than seeing he is loved and he deserves to be loved by a family who cherish him.

Thanks to the adopter, who opened her heart to accept Candy as a new family member. adopter told she had dogs for four decades, candy was the first rescued dog in her life. she would prefer to adopt a rescued dog, rather than buy a puppy from a breeder. it would be wonderful to save a life.

Candy has never taken a ferry. on the ferry heading to his new home with adopter, he got his confidence back and was ready to brace his new life. he said good bye to his past, a stray dog's life.

We appreciated some families who sent emails to us and were quite interested in adopting Candy. some of them were serious adopters. Please check new posts to see if you are interested in adopting other rescued dogs. we do our best to reply everyone.

A forever home for Bean----Unconditional love

Thanks to a great lady who adopted Bean.

Bean was a stray dog, abandoned by the first own. the rescuer found him. Bean had messy hair and searched food in green fields. the rescuer couldn't believe how such a small dog was able to survive without any food in green fields. The rescuer took him to see the vet. Bean was healthy. but the vet found his right front leg was different. Bean had x-ray. the vet confirm that Bean broke one of his front leg when he was puppy. but that leg recovered by himself when he grew up. there was no need to do surgery. he walked well and ran well.

the rescuer noticed bean has black shinning eyes, very bright. He gave him a name black bean. he was tiny and super friendly. Because he had never been spoiled and loved by the first owner. He knew he must be a good boy to survive in this unknown world. he got well with all of the dogs in the shelter. he looked other dogs as his big brothers and sisters.

DRV decided to find a forever home for Bean in Vancouver. Bean flew to Vancouver and was fostered. In 2 months 5 families in Vancouver met and greet Bean. but they didn't adopt Bean after consideration. until one day, DRV took Bean to the lady's home to foster Bean for a while. after a few days, the lady decided to adopt Bean. the lady said, Bean needed unconditional love. no rescued dog was prefect pet. she committed to giving Bean unconditional love forever.

As a human, no one is perfect. but we survive because of the unconditional love we have.

Before applying for adoption, please consider if you give the rescued dogs unconditional love,they have never been loved. Don't disappoint the rescued dogs. they will be sad, they will cry.

A forever home for Toby ---- travelling just to meet you.

On a beautiful Sunday, Toby, a stray poodle, met his new mother. His new mother took a ferry to Vancouver in early morning to pick up Toby. Toby would be her new fur baby. when Toby met new mom, they found they liked each other a lot just in a few minutes.

Many thanks to Toby's new mother travelling to Vancouver to adopt Toby. Toby said good bye to the hopeless Stray dog Life. he has a new mom to love him every day.

Love is priceless, can't be bought. you love the dog and the dog love you back. how much you care about the dog, how much the dog care about you.

New life about Todd. Now he is Kingsley!

I am so happy I adopted Kingsley! He is full of contagious joy and happiness. It took only a week for him to settle in and trust me. Kingsley was 3 years old when he came to me and was not housebroken. He learned quickly and with love and patience he is thriving. He loves the off leash dog park and does really well with other dogs and other people. I know I rescued him, but he also rescued me.

So nice to hear from you!
Quick update on Teddy — he’s doing amazing! He’s the sweetest little guy. Such a fun, smart, and cuddly little boy, who keeps us smiling every single day. Whether he’s showing off his tricks, zooming around with excitement, or snuggling up for naps, he fills our home with so much love and laughter. His smart (and stubborn… 😆) and stealing everyone’s heart who’s met him.

We honestly can’t imagine life without him! 🐾❤️

Adapting a rescue dog and give him a second chance, was the best decisions we made. His a perfect addition for our family. He love everyone, specially kids.

Thank you Tiffany for your hard work to bring this amazing dogs to Vancouver and give them a second chance!
