Hallie was dropped off at her new home yesterday!

Hallie was a super fun horse to have during her time with me and we will definitely miss her, but she is in good hands where she will be a great kids' horse, with plenty of buddies (including cows).

‼️Important‼️

Training Availability:
If you are looking to get in my training schedule for this year, please note that my next current availability opens up in July (2026).
Whether you are a new or return client, I can add you to my schedule! I am not limited by seasons, thanks to a nice indoor arena.

Regarding Training Services:
I am no longer offering travel-to training services to new clients for the foreseeable future. Although it may not be exciting news for those who prefer those services, but I am looking forward to less driving and more training!

Thank you for understanding!
I appreciate all of my clients and future clients!

Willow the Mustang has been doing a lot of growing up and is learning to work through problems!

While most horses I have worked with like to take flight when scared, Willow will freeze first and if the pressure persists she will spin away, suck back and back up fast, or if I am not holding the lead rope she will take flight, but she will always try freezing first.
An example of this would be: she is "fine" if you throw the tarp over her back when she is standing, but not if you ask her to move forward with it on her back. That also means that she is okay with me mounting her, but can only handle so much forward motion with me on her before she has a reaction.
I don't expect any horse not to spook at all, but I do want them to respond instead of reacting.

Although progress has been a little slow, it has been rewarding!

If you've been following my stories, you've probably seen I have another Willow in training!

Willow is a coming 3 y/o Standardbred filly in for 30 days. She is very much a wiggly baby still, but she surprises me every day with how well she handles most things! She definitely has a streak of sass that shows up every day, too.

I have been able to saddle her twice now, and she hasn't so much as offered to buck.
Willow really likes to move and she's always up for something new!

Introducing a new face!

This is Willow, a 7 year old Mustang in for 30 days.
She has had some ground training and has been ridden a few times.

Today was Willow's second session and she seems to be a deep thinker, quiet, but ready for a challenge.
She's not a fan of walking through entrances/exits (such as gates or trailers), but has already made progress!

Follow along to see more training updates on Willow and my next projects!

Happy Resurrection Day!!

Below is a song called Mercy Tree, I highly recommend listening to it after reading it.

"On a hill called Calvary
Stands an endless mercy tree
Every broken, weary soul
Find your rest and be made whole
Stripes of blood that stain its frame
Shed to wash away our shame
From the scars, pure love released
Salvation by the mercy tree

In the spot between two thieves
Hung the blameless prince of peace
Beat and battered, scarred and scorned
Sacred head pierced by our thorns
"It is finished," was his cry
The perfect lamb was crucified
His sacrifice, our victory
Our savior chose the mercy tree

Hope went dark that violent day
The whole earth quaked at love's display
Three days silent in the ground
This body born for heavens crown
On that bright and glorious day
When heaven opened up the grave
He's alive and risen indeed

Oh, praise him for the mercy tree
Death has died, love has won
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Jesus Christ has overcome
He has risen from the dead

One day soon, we'll see his face
And every tear he'll wipe away
No more pain, no sufferin'

Oh, praise him for the mercy tree
Death has died, love has won
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Jesus Christ has overcome
He has risen from the dead

Death has died, love has won
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Jesus Christ has overcome
He has risen from the dead

He has risen from the dead
He has risen from the dead"

Stetson is looking for a new home!
Stetson is a 6½ year old Mustang/Morgan gelding, and stands at about 13.2 hands high.
• Trail rides alone and with other horses
• Responsive to leg and rein pressure
• Responsive to leg cues
• Good walk, trot, canter
• Has some trouble picking up his right lead, but has made some progress
• Does well in chaotic situations
• Super fun pony and would do well in a variety of disciplines (although has only ever been ridden western)
• Good ground manners
• Ties, leads, and loads (although with some hesitation)
• No buck, bite, or kick

An experienced and confident rider is highly recommended as Stetson has developed a bolting/spooking issue with his current rider which he needs some help working through.
He needs a lot of consistent miles and exposure.
With that, he is not recommended for children or beginner riders, although he has potential to excel with a younger rider.

Happy New Year! 🥳 🎉
Thank you, Lord, for another year!

2025 was a big year, but somehow I can't seem to sumerize what made it big, what all I learned, and how it impacted me. So much happened, I think it through me for a loop!
I think of the past year as me being a sponge and a ton of stuff was dumped on me that I am still trying to absorb. 😅

-2025-
• my busiest training year yet with roughly 20 training horses that I took in
• I traveled
• I earned my first certification
• I was stretched and pulled in all directions
• my dog had a litter of pups
• I took my mare to a couple of shows and I was super pleased with our growth
• I attended about 5 clinics
• and so much more!!

Thank you to each of my clients throughout the past year, for your trust in me, and for your patience and support! I truly appreciate every one of you!

Merry Christmas everyone!🎄🎀

Luke 2:8-11
[8] And in the same region there were shepherds out in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.
[9] And an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were filled with great fear.
[10] And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people.
[11] For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
