What a cute pair! Anyone looking for a pair of boys?

To this day, we still get these boys mixed up. They were returned to us October 2023, to no fault of their own, and they haven't had any interest since. For some reason, albino animals (white fur/red eyes) don't get the best rep. Like black cats, there has been superstitions surrounding them for their appearance. But these boys are just the sweetest. They enjoy lap time and wheeking for veggies. They are the chillest pair of brothers who would love to find someone to love. Their adoption fee is waived till the end of the year in hopes of helping them find their forever home.

This is awesome!

Looking for a pair of guinea pigs?

Haku+Sora are still looking for their forever family! These two brothers can be so silly with one another at times. They are easily bribed with veggies and enjoy exploring! 🐽

Every day I get emails, calls, or messages asking me to take in guinea pigs. Foggy Creek Cavy Rescue has been closed to surrenders for some years now. I realize it can be confusing, since occasionally I do post some on here that are available for adoption. These guinea pigs are usually returns from past adoptions. Plus, "rescue" is in my name, right? I'm thinking of changing it to "sanctuary". I am here to offer advice and boarding, and a final home for the few oldies left.

I am not accepting surrenders. Do not call, email, message, or even drop by (!!!!) expecting that I will take your guinea pigs.

There are other guinea pig rescues, but they are usually full as well. There are shelters, although many don't have the facilities for small animals. You can post online, on the Facebook groups like Washington State Guinea Pig Lovers, or PNW Guinea pigs. There's a website called The Guinea Pig Finder (although they still have me listed as open, I'm working on changing that) where you can post them. Many vet offices will let you put up flyers.

Or you can just keep them. Take allergy meds. Give them bigger cages so they don't need cleaning as often. Don't worry about spending time with them (most would prefer you didn't, anyway).

To repeat, I WILL NOT TAKE IN YOUR UNWANTED GUINEA PIGS.

Sadly, we lost one of our old ladies. Poppy passed away last night. She was one of our permanent residents here, living next to her buddy Inej. This photo was from last Easter, and she looked basically the same, except she was blind in both eyes at the end. We will miss her!

These babies were recently returned to the rescue and are now ready for a new home. Tiana and Priscilla are young females who still have some growing to do! Message me if you are interested in adopting. Cage must be a Midwest or larger, these girls love to zoom around! Because of Priscilla’s long hair, experienced adopters are preferred.

These boys are finally getting along and ready for a new home! Twix is the dad and Kit Kat his son. They need a large cage, at least a 2x5 C&C Cage (it’s 13 square feet). Message me if interested!
