LOSING THEIR WAY
We often hear the myth that an old dog may have wandered off to die. In our experience we don't find this to be true. We do see many cases of older dogs suffering dementia and becoming confused and disoriented. They may unintentionally wander beyond familiar boundaries and become lost. Please don't make assumptions that your old dog does not want to be found. He or she is relying on YOU to bring him/her safely home.
