On the 14th of February, 2021: Instagram user “aladdinezzat” made a post starting with “My dog has been killed and his death is the most painful thing.” Along with a very unfortunate picture of the deceased dog. Ezat then went on to explain what happened stating that he was taking care of this 9 month old dog on the roof of his apartment complex and that one of his neighbours in particular did not like the fact that he was raising dogs on the roof. After being threatened and extorted by the neighbour, Ezat moved the dog to another roof and proposed building a fence to separate the dog's space from their apartment roof. The neighbours reported him to authorities for “illegally building the fence” and “terrorizing them with the dogs he was breeding.” They also claimed he was threatening them. According to Ezat, the neighbours in question had been aggressive towards the dogs for a while, even trying to electrocute them. Ezat accuses his neighbour of killing the dogs by pushing them off the roof, stating “Subhan Allah! The dogs had been fine on the roof for 9 months then suddenly fell on their own?!”

يوم 14 فبراير 2021: نشر مستخدم إنستغرام "aladinnezat" تدوينة تبدأ بعبارة "انا كلبي اتقتل وموته دا أكتر حاجة وجعتني في حياتي". جانب صورة مؤسفة جدا للكلب المتوفى. ثم تابع عزت بشرح ما حدث قائلاً إنه كان يعتني بهذا الكلب البالغ من العمر 9 أشهر على سطح عمارته وأن أحد جيرانه على وجه الخصوص لم يعجبه أنه كان يربي الكلاب على السطح. بعد أن تعرض للتهديد والابتزاز من قبل الجار ، نقل عزت الكلب إلى سطح آخر واقترح بناء سور لفصل مساحة الكلب عن سطح شقتهم. أبلغ الجيران عنه السلطات بتهمة "بناء السور بشكل غير قانوني" و "إرهابهم بالكلاب التي كان يربيها". كما زعموا أنه كان يهددهم. وفقًا لعزت ، كان الجيران هؤلاء عدوانيين تجاه الكلاب لفترة ، حتى أنهم حاولوا صعقهم بالكهرباء. عزت يتهم جاره بقتل الكلاب بدفعها عن السطح قائلاً: "سبحان الله من بعد ٩ شهور على الروف الكلب وقع لوحده!"

Last breaths

Why didn’t dad feed me this morning? I thought I made it very clear when I barked out my signal; he probably got the seasonal flu. What’s that sound? Is mom crying? I never heard her cry. The sun just said its goodbyes; I have a really bad feeling about what happened earlier. Since when has mom taken over the food shifts? I don’t feel like eating anymore, not until I see dad. I miss the way he patted me on the head every time I was polite around guests. Will I ever see him again? Months have gone by, and I feel indifferent towards everything that ever thrilled me. My tail stopped wiggling, and I can’t pick up his scent anymore. Mom just picked up my leash; I think we’re going to go for a walk. I sense his smell growing stronger. This can’t be what I think it is: is he underground? Help me dig him up mom! She’s never hugged me harder. I lost my friend. I can’t feel my face; is this the raw form of dismay? A year has passed without my best friend, and I just can’t take it anymore. I breathe in, I breathe out, and I feel them being my last breaths. The Overtoun Bridge near Dumbarton in west Scotland has been designated as "The Dog Su***de Bridge." When some animals grieve, they begin to show self-destructive behavior that doesn’t necessarily mean that they’re attempting suicide—their mindset is just like a toddler’s.

لماذا لم يطعمني أبي هذا الصباح؟ اعتقدت أنني أظهرت جوعي عندما نبحت إشارتنا ، ولكن ربما أصيب بالأنفلونزا الموسمية. ما هذا الصوت؟ هل أمي تبكي؟ لم أسمعها تبكي من قبل. الشمس قالت الوداع، لدي شعور سيء حول ما حدث سابقاً اليوم. منذ متى أخذت أمي ورديات طعامي؟ لا أشعر بالرغبة في الأكل بعد الآن ليس بعد أن أرى أبي مجدداً. أفتقد الطريقة التي حسس بها على رأسي في كل مرة كنت مهذباً حول الضيوف. هل سأراه مرة أخرى؟ مرت أشهر، وأشعر باللامبالاة تجاه كل شيء أثارني. ذيلي توقف عن اللعب، ولا أستطيع أن ألتقط رائحته بعد الآن. أمي التقطت مقودي ، أعتقد أننا سنذهب للتمشية. أشعر أن رائحته تزداد قوة لا يمكن أن يكون هذا ما أعتقده: هل هو تحت الأرض؟ ساعديني على حفره يا أمي! لم تعانقني هكذا من قبل. لقد فقدت صديقي. لا أستطيع الشعور بوجهي، هل هذا هو الشكل الحقيقي لـ الاستياء؟ لقد مر عام بدون أعز أصدقائي، ولا يمكنني التحمل أكثر من ذلك. أتنفس، أتنفس، وأشعر بهم كأنفاسي الأخيرة.

It is not too late to say no

Anyone who has shared their life with any animal doesn’t need 2000 studies to know that just like humans, animals have undeniable feelings. However, there is overwhelming evidence which states how animals can be in trauma, stress and extreme sadness after being tested cruelly in labs by people who call themselves “scientists”. Every year, thousands of animals are being cast-off in painful experiments before being abruptly killed. The fact that the federal national institute of health ignores how animals are being treated in endless examinations and tests by hiding behind the undeniable lie that animals feel no emotions. For example, octopuses show a variety of emotions by the change in their coloration and skin pattern. Male mice chase their mates around with high-pitched songs. Some birds hold funerals and grief for their dead. Those fascinating creatures should be respected, not abused in testing.

لم يفت الاوان بعد لتقول لا
الشخص الذي اقام مع حيوان من قبل وشاركه حياته لا يحتاج ٢٠٠٠ دراسه ليعرف ان الحيوان مثل الانسان ، لديه مشاعر لا يمكن انكارها . ومع ذلك الدلائل كثيره التي تثبت ان الحيوان يمكن ان يكون في صدمه ، تحت ضغط وتوتر وحزن شديد . في المعامل تقام علي الحيوانات العديد من التجارب القاسيه يقوم بها ما يسمون انفسهم ب"علماء" .
كل عام الاف الحيوانات تُستخدم في تجارب اليمه التي تؤدي الي قتلها . حقيقه إن "المعهد الوطني الاتحادي للصحة" يتجاهل كيف الحيوان يعامل في التجارب ويدافع عن هذا بقول "إن الحيوان لا يشعر"
كل هذه اكاذيب والدلائل علي ذلك كثيره منها ، هل تعلم ان الاخطبوط يظهر مشاعره المختلفه عن طريق تغيير لونها وجلدها ،
ذكور الفئران تطارد رفقاها بأغاني عاليه النبره
بعض الطيور تقوم بأنواع الجنازات وتظهر الحزن غلي مواتهم
هذه المخلوقات يجب ان تحترم مثل الانسان ولا يقام عليها التجارب
الانسانيه شعور ليس للبشر فقط ولكن لجميع الكائنات الحيه!

“The place of your treatment is the place of your predation”

That’s what happened In a well known veterinary clinic, have you ever Imagined a clinic that Is for animal treatment would also be a grave for them?, A story that happened these days , a well known vet brought dogs and tied their mouths and legs, threw them In the garden. When a woman captured the photos of these poor creatures in this situation, when she asked him, he said “he trains his students using them”. Can you imagine that he can harm them in any way just to let his students practice their treatment. He is using them as If they were nothing, as If they have no feelings. A vet Is supposed to be their voice, but instead he became their reason for suffering. Usage of animals in experiments will always be a crime no matter what the reasons or excuses. Instead of using them In these cruel experiments we should protect them and treat them from real accidents! On the other side of the story, when the photos were posted , the vet defended himself saying “ These Stray animals suffering from eye diseases were supplied to the college from the official supplier of animals for the faculties of veterinary medicine and we offered to treat these injured cases”. He added that these animals were tied up In order not to harm anyone, as they’re stray animals and are under the influence of the sedative, therefore are not fully conscious. He also said that if they were doing something wrong they wouldn’t do It In public. Most people didn’t believe this as the photos didn’t align with what they were saying . The sadness and fear in their eyes say a lot . People became cruel, even the savior could be the killer .

مكان علاجك هو مكان هلاكك
هذا ما حدث في احد العيادات البيطرية ، هل تتخيل عيادة لعلاج الحيوانات تصبح مقبرتهم؟. قصه حدثت منذ أيام ، أحضر دكتور بيطري مشهور كلاب وقيدهم من ارجلهم و افواهم ووضعهم في حديقة العمارة، التقطت امرأة صور لهذه الكائنات المسكينه في هذا الموقف ، سألته فأجاب أنه يستخدمهم ليدرب طلابه عليها ، هل تتخيل أن يمكن لشخص أن يؤذي روح تشعر لكن لا تستطيع ان تتكلم ، ان يكون الشخص المفترض ان يكون صوتهم لكنه السبب في صراخهم؟ . استخدام الحيوانات في تجارب وحشية ستظل جريمة مهما اختلفت الاسباب والمبررات ، بدلاً من استخدامهم في ذلك يمكن أن نعالجهم من الحوادث التي تحدث لهم . في جانب آخر من الحكاية دافع الطبيب عن نفسه بعد انتشار الصور "انهم حيوانات ضاله كانوا يعانوا من مرض في العين وقد تبرعوا لعلاجهم" واضاف ان هذه الحيوانات قيدت حتى لا تؤذي أحد حيث انهم ضالين و ليسوا في وعيهم وإذا كان يفعل شئ خاطئ فلن يفعله في العلن. لكن لم يقتنع الناس بهذه المبررات حيث ان الصور لم يظهر فيها ذلك لكن ظهرت في عيونهم الحزن والخوف . اصبح الناس مخيفين حيث أصبح المنقذ يمكن أن يكون القاتل

My fur is not your jacket

Shot, scalped and left to die: This is the fate of many of Finland's diverse creatures. Ever since the dawn of civilization, fur hunting has been a lucrative business in areas where certain fur-bearing animals lived. A great example of this is Finland, who, until very recently, still allowed poachers to hunt badgers, beavers, foxes, minks, muskrats, pine martens, racoon dogs and other animals with pelt and fur. This year however, saw massive demonstrations and protests by the Finnish Social Democratic Party against fur hunting and pushing legislation that made hunting these animals illegal. Thanks to their efforts, about 74% of the Finnish population and a majority of their government officials now oppose fur farming and the legislation to ban it once and for all is in the works.

فرائي ليس سترتك

القتل, الجلد و الترك للموت:هذا مصير الكثير من مخلوقات فنلندا المتنوعة. منذ قديم الأزل و زراعة الفراء تجارة مربحة في المناطق الذي يعيش فيها الحيوانات ذو الفرو. مثال لهذا دولة
فنلندا الذين حتى وقت قريب, يفسحون الطريق للصيادين ليقتلوا هذه الحيوانات لحصد فروهم. من هذه الحيوانات الغرير ، القنادس ، الثعالب ، المنك ، المسك ، خز الصنوبر ، كلاب الراكون والحيوانات الأخرى ذات الفراء. و لكن هذا العام, رأت فنلندا مظاهرات عديدة من الحزب الديمقراطي الاجتماعي ضد صيد الفراء ودفع التشريعات التي تمنع ذلك. بسببهم, 74% من شعب فنلندا الأن يعارض صيد الفراء و يتم دفع تشريع يمنع الصيد أخيرا اليوم

Mommy, what is a penguin?

Just like the toddler you once were, I would turn on the TV and switch to national geographic. I remember once watching an episode about the polar animals, the tears came as quickly as never before and I ran to my mothers’ embrace wondering in what ways I could help the neglected species. Many people view the Arctic as a vast and barren expanse, a hostile environment devoid of wildlife and people.
An unsettling myth causing people to neglect the environmental needs of the arctics’ wildlife.
As climate change constantly increases, the sea-ice- associated species keep declining in numbers and struggling to hold onto life.
The high Arctic species declined 26% between 1970 and 2004.
I would love for my children to grow up knowing what a penguin looks like.

‏ايه البطريق يا امي؟

من وانا صغيرة ‏كنت بحب افتح ناشونال جيوجرافيك اتفرج على ‏الحيوانات والطبيعة "ذات المظاهر الخلابة". في يوم كانوا ‏عرضين حلقة عن ‏الحيوانات الجنوبية و ‏المشاكل التي ‏ ‏تقابلهم و كانت من أكثر المرات التي تأثرت فيها كا طفلة، عيط و جريت ‏لحضن امي عشان مش عارفة ازاي ممكن اساعد الارواح دي. علي مدار السنين ‏اكتشفت أن الناس ‏شايفة ‏القطب الجنوبي كا مساحة فضية ‏مافيهاش أرواح و ملهاش ‏لازمة. ‏دليل الكذبة دي هو أن القط الجنوبي أهمل الى درجة ان البيئة فيه تدهورت مع ارتفاع الحرارة و ‏بقي لا يصلح للحيوانات القطبية و ‏سلب منهم كل آمال البقاء على قيد الحياة.
التنوع المختلفة من الحيوانات هناك شاهدت ‏تنقص ٢٦٪؜ من ١٩٧٠ الي ٢٠٠٤.

Your kids right there

Animals impact our community much more than you think. Sure, they’re sources of affection and joy for the youngsters & adolescents of a family, but they could also be an unsolicited outlet for violence that pet owners tend to go for. You’ve seen father figures lose control right in front of their children and deal with their bottled up anger in a physical manner in the movies, but filmmakers certainly wouldn’t allow shooting a scene that involves animal violence. What happens nowadays is that idolized family members choose to physically hurt their pets to let out frustration or relieve them of some kind of agony they felt all day long. Children unintentionally watch them hurt their pet, and this leads to mental damage that will affect them on the long run. Imagine normalising your kid watching animal abuse right in front of their bare eyes; do you think they won’t end up hurting their own family in the future? What could happen is beyond our measure of understanding. The partners of those children are going to be victims of domestic violence and maybe worse in the future. All of this is going to wreck the community and spread intolerable toxicity within us.

الحيوانات تؤثر على مجتمعنا أكثر بكثير مما تعتقد.أكيد ، هما مصادر المودة والفرح للشباب والمراهقين في أي عائلة ، لكنهم يمكن أن يكونوا منفذا غيرمرغوب به للعنف إلي أصحاب الحيوانات الأليفة تميل إلى الذهاب ليه. ممكن تكون رأيت شخصيات زي الأب يفقد السيطرة أمام أطفالهم ويتعامل مع غضبهم المعبأ بطريقة عنيفة في الأفلام، ولكن صناع الأفلام أكيد لن يسمحوا بتصوير مشهد يحتوي على العنف الحيواني. ما يحدث الآن هو أن أفراد الأسرة الذين يتمثلون بمثل أطفالهم الأعلى يختارون أن يؤذوا حيواناتهم الأليفة جسديا لإخراج احباطهم أو تخفيف نوع من العذاب الذي شعروا به طوال اليوم. الأطفال يشاهدونهم عن غير قصد وهما يجرحون حيوانتهم الأليفة، وهذا يؤدي إلى أضرار نفسية من الممكن أن تؤثر عليهم على المدى الطويل. تخيل تعود ابنك على مشاهدة الاعتداء على الحيوانات; هل تعتقد أنهم لن يقيموا بإيذاء عائلاتهم في المستقبل؟ وما يمكن أن يحصل يتجاوز مقياس فهمنا. ويكونوا شركاء الأطفال ضحايا للعنف المنزلي ويمكن أسوأ في المستقبل. كل هذا سيدمر المجتمع وينشر سوء لا يطاق بمجتمعنا.

“Muffled Whimpers”

Let me tell you a heart wrenching story of a young girl. A child, with hair that shines in the light and eyes that turn into pools of honey when the sun rays strike them, was stripped away from her mother. She was given away to be put behind bars until she was sold and bought by unknown strangers. Faces come and go by her cage until one day a stranger chooses her. Seems happy, right? Finally someone will let her out of her miserable place where she is left to rot? Wrong. Mr.Stranger is reluctant about her well-being or health. What she eats and if she was bathed. The same horrible life just in a different “house”. One day Mr.Stranger decides that he can’t bear the responsibility he has over the child, so he kicks her out. Heartlessly locking the door behind him, she is left to deal with the harsh world on her own. Who knows how this story might end for the poor child.
Did this make you feel a little pang in the chest? Will this ache in your heart disappear if I told you this wasn’t a human child but the daily life of a domestic pet?
Because this is the inevitable reality for far too many animals.
What gives a human life value isn’t the conscious or the ability to form sentences, but our souls and our feelings. These animals have souls and feelings that don’t value any less than ours, then why did you decide to step over them like they never mattered?

“أنين مكتوم”
دعوني أقصّ عليكم قصة موجعة للقلوب عن فتاةٍ صغيرة. فتاةٌ بشعر يلمع في النور و عيونٍ تتحول الى حوضٍ من العسل كلما وقعت عليها آشعة الشمس، فتاة جرّدت من أمها. أخذت بعيدًا لتذهب خلف القضبان حتى يشتريها بضع من الأغراب. وجوهٌ تذهب و تأتي عابرة على القفص، حتى جاء اليوم الذي اختارها واحد من الأغراب فيه، تبدو سعيدةً، أليس كذلك؟ أخيرًا جاء من سيسمح لها بالخروج من مكانها البائس حيث تم تركها فيه لتتعفن؟ خطأ، السيد الغريب لا يأبي لسعادتها و صحتها. إن كانت أكلت أو متى كانت آخر مرة تحممت، ها هي نفس الحياة المروعة و لكن في "منزل" آخر.
ذات يوم، قرر السيد الغريب أنه لم يعد يقدر على تحمّل مسؤولية الطفلة، فطردها من المنزل.
أغلق الباب وراءة بلا شفقة، تُركت الطفلة لتواجه العالم الخارجي القاسي وحدها. من يعلم كيف ستنتهي الحكاية لهذه الطفلة المسكينة.
هل شعرت بغصّة في صدرك؟ هل سيختفي ألم قلبك و يهدأ إن قلت لك أن هذه الطفلة لم تكن بشر و لكنها حياة الحيوان الأليف اليومية؟
لأن هذا واقع لا مفرّ منه للكثير من الحيوانات.
ما يعطي حياة الإنسان قيمة ليس وعيه ولا قدرته على تكوين الجمل، و لكن هي روحه ومشاعره. هذه الحيوانات لديها روح و مشاعر لا تقلّ قيمتها عن قيمة أرواحنا و مشاعرنا، فلماذا تقرر أن تخطو عليها و كأنها لا تهم أبدًا؟
