NOTICE to all my feline furiends!! This is about Apoquel chewables for dogs ... very bad for kitties!

NC State College of Veterinary Medicine & Veterinary Hospital recently shared information about two cats who became critically ill after ingesting a popular chewable allergy drug prescribed to dogs, resulting in acute kidney injury.
This is a reminder that something given safely to one pet can be extremely dangerous to another!

Remember-
Store all medications securely, especially dog treats, chews, or pills.
Be cautious with meds labeled “for dogs”—they may contain active ingredients dangerous to cats.
If your cat ingests any pet medication not prescribed for them, contact your vet or poison control hotline immediately!
