We are proud to share that our Founding Director, Abdirabi, participated in the GEF Eastern Africa Extended Constituency Workshop in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia 🇪🇹 representing PUSAN and East African Civil Society Organizations.

The workshop brought together over 120 participants including GEF Operational Focal Points, government representatives, and civil society organizations from 14 Eastern African countries, exploring how GEF resources can drive meaningful impact across the region.

A field visit to Gullele and Yeka Sub-cities gave delegates the opportunity to see firsthand how GEF supported projects are transforming communities through resilience building, ecosystem adaptation, and livelihood support.

PUSAN remains committed to ensuring climate finance reaches the communities that need it most. With GEF-9 coming this July, we look forward to continuing to advocate for inclusive and community driven investment across Eastern Africa.
