Before these past few months Murc had never run an AKC test. Now he’s coming home with a winning record.

We knew going into this week he was an entry level master dog. Our goal was to pass just one of the two he ran in. First test boom he passed. Not perfect by any means but he passed. Second test made it through the first, then the second, called back to the third and an old fall got him. But he still made us proud, second ever master test to make it all the way to the third?! Stoked.

Even better my best friend will be home tomorrow, we’ll hunt together a little to close out the season, enjoy a little break and back to prepping to get that HRCH. We’re forever greatful for our good friend Chad for taking Murc and polishing him up.

Slacking on social media cause boy have we been busy!

Murc has been away with a friend training and testing down south since he passed 2 seasoned tests this fall(1 away from his HR). He went 6/6 (got a bonus pass) for his AKC senior title, passed his first master test and is running his second now before he comes home this weekend for the winter. All of his health testing has been completed and he received his OFA CHIC number.

The pointer boys have been busy with their second job at the er vet saving lives and teaching the up and coming new staff. Had quite a few good days out with them Barley teaching Grim the ropes before I switched to nights for a while.

Brant is just being the good old Cadillac that he is holding down the duck blind while his brother has been chasing ribbons. He also recieved his HR title this fall.

We welcomed another SOK puppy because what’s one more at this point? He’s a big ole yellow male out of FTCH Stauntonvale Moose Milk x Fenloch Argyll Tweed. Super excited for this boy! So introducing SOK’s Milk and Honey ”Badger”

A little late but nevertheless welcome to our new kid on the block! We added a bold black roan GSP boy out of Paradise Hill Gun Dogs in Vermont recently. Grim has been a fun addition to the crew already, we’re looking forward to branching out into NAVHDA with this boy.

Great day at Inspire K-9’s fun trial. Brant took 1st place in his division running a seasoned HRC level test. Walkup, double mark, and blind on land. Double mark, blind, and diversion on water. We couldn’t be more proud of him. Looking forward to the next hunt test season, now bring on duck season!
