Cyclone Alfred Update
We came through Cyclone Alfred with no damage thankfully, it was a couple of nervous nights and all of the animals did incredibly well and weren't phased with the wild winds.
We did loose power for the best part of two days and had a lot of rain. We are now back up and working on outstanding orders, however we ran our timber stock low as ambient moisture from such a weather event can warp and swell timber so we didn't restock before the cyclone. We have had trouble getting fresh timber but think we have sourced everything we need over the past few days and many trips to local stores to cater of the orders we have on the books right now. Please bare with us as it will take a few days to catch up and hopefully timber supply will get back to normal very soon.
Thank you to everyone for your patience while we get back to normal operation, and rest assured if you have an outstanding order we are working on it 😊

It's looking very likely that Cyclone Alfred will cross the Queensland coast later this week, please be aware that if services such as power and communications go down we will not be able to receive, process or ship out orders.
We will also be very focused during the weather event to ensure our pets are safe and calm as a priority.
So please keep in mind if you place an order this week into early next week there may be potential delays.

Also a heads up as we are located in Brisbane and there is the potential of a cyclone heading our way later this week. It could impact any orders that come through this week if we lose power or have delays with courier pick ups. Please expect potential delays if placing an order this week .

RSPCA, AWL and many vet clinics used Homesafe ID so many animals will be effected, this includes dogs, cats, parrots and exotics...

‼️ IMPORTANT UPDATE: PET MICROCHIPPING‼️
Microchip Pet Registry company, HomeSafeID, will soon cease to operate online.

What does this mean? 👇
If you know your pet is registered with HomeSafeID, you will need to change your microchip registration to another company 📝

If your pet's registration isn't updated, should they go missing or are found, vets/councils/animal shelters will no longer be able to view your pet’s ownership details listed on their microchip when it is scanned, making it difficult to reunite you!

If you don’t know your pet’s microchip number or have lost their paperwork with their registration details, contact your veterinarian, council or animal shelter. They can scan your pet and provide the microchip number.

If you adopted a pet from RSPCA with a HomeSafe ID registry or had a microchip implanted at a RSPCA Community Day, while we cannot update your pet’s microchip details for you, we can help you find your adoptee’s microchip number and answer any questions you may have on 1300 ANIMAL (1300 264 625) or your local shelter.

While we are taking a break from making handmade bird toys we are taking the opportunity to give the website a fresh new look and even have a new Logo 😀 I hope you all like it as much as I do
The website will gradually have a fresh new look over the coming days as we go through and edit everything.

‼️‼️‼️ We are needing to take a short break from making handmade bird toys due to family commitments, I don't have a firm date of when things will be back to normal but aiming for the first or second week in February.
In the mean time all in stock commercially made bird toys, dog, cat & small animal products will process as normal and we have 20% off sitewide for all non-handmade items for the next week.
