...This is all that is left of an adult possum we found dead in our backyard after vultures feasted on the carcass. It is amazing how totally complete the Vultures have stripped the remaining skeleton of anything edible and only left bones. This is an example of the way nature finds a way - the product of millions of years of evolution in establishing certain species whose total existence relies on being highly successful in locating and feeding on carrion. Think of what is required in visual acuity to spot a dead animal as small as a rabbit from hundreds of feet in the air and do that every day to find your lunch. Quite amazing. BTW - As per the prior video showing Marconi the Math Dog watching the vultures, when asked "... how many Vultures in the backyard?...", Marconi immediately answers "...seven....". How cool is that?
