Well gator is home. All I can say is this is one heck of a very sweet, loving, soft boy. He is very stable. Kind of gave a little woof at Nate. Then Nate walked up like he had known him forever had them and they’ve become very good friends this is a perfect entry level Malinois. He is wonderful with children and was very sad to part with his little girl he had become friends with a truly wonderful special boy, evidently a bit of an escape artist he is heading over to uncle Chris, we just aren’t ready after Suki but so thankful for Chris. Although skinny at the moment, he is on the large size. This is gonna be one hell of a dog when he fills out not a hard, tough dog, but very stable in character inquisitive, and will be impressive to look at.

Well folks we need a siffsrent plan for this special soul.

Message from a very sweet woman who oulled him from the shelter:

So if anyone is looking for a super fsmily dig that may take a bit to warm uo to every man in the house. Please reach iut to me. Gater Is safe just needs a place to decompress.

So first impressions of Gator is he’s a truly great dog. He’s good in the house, good with small dogs, super gentle around kids. Problem is he can be wary of men. He warmed up to my bf quickly however he’s decided he doesn’t like my dad (who lives with us).

I feel he can be trained through this but my dad is very uncomfortable and wants the dog gone and it is his home too so unfortunately, I need to find a new placement for Gator asap.

Okay so they aren’t puppies coming .. they are 18 months old. Looks like a male and a female, both cute the small one actually looks like Willow.

✌️Please network .

The person taking them to humane says they will shoot them all if they aren’t gone next week. Humane is being amazing and altering, vaccinating and microchipping them next week. They have offered the rescue food, crates for them. But they are overfull and doing what they can. Should be needing foster help end of next week.

Fresh out of half way house.

🎉🎉🎉💥IVY 💥🎉🎉
First 12 hrs observation from Chris who Is a fantastic behaviorest and Trainer.

Ivy loves playing ball, seems like she enjoys affection but still a little nervous so acting like she enjoys it more each time.

She likes to dig in the water bowl as she drinks. Most likely a hapbit she developed while kenneled at Humane.

She knows a litte obedience.

Doesn’t quite act like a puppy, but definitely doesn’t seem to have grown into herself yet.

No problem with my dogs and no obvious immediate reaction to any of my cats. Like minimal interest that appears like it’ll be relatively workable.

🤔How she ended up at the shelter is starting to unfold.

At the age of 7 months her owner was overwhelmed by a rambunctious Malinois puppy and took her to the shelter YAVAPAI HUMANE SOCIETY to surrender her, the owner was greeted by a malinois enthusiast who offered to foster and find her a home. Afther Ivy was with the mid home for 2 months she was placed in a home with someone from YCSO. Who until now has had her.

I have knowledge she was at the shelter for a bite quarantine and the owner never came to retrieve her. So now this young lady has gone through more trauma and is looking for someone who truly appreciates and won’t let the breed down.

I’m sure those of you know who have Malinois’s that eventually you’re going to have a hand get caught between a tug, ball etc this girl was placed on a bite quarantine for that.

She is finally spayed a huge thank you to YAVAPAI HUMANE SOCIETY for getting all the necessary surgery and vaccines done before exiting them though the rescue.

Why people send a dog out unaltered with a contract of a promise to spay is beyond me ( a huge part of the problem).

🎉Ivy is micro chipped, and up-to-date with all of her vaccines. She is with a very reliable and reputable trainer until she finds her forever home. Please put the word out. I am sure Chris will update photos and pictures

🥕🥕I have never asked for an adoption fee however, this dog is with a trainer, who is being very kind and generous not asking for anything, however if people wish to send a donation to help make this doable in the future please feel free.

This little Rescue is NOT a 501 c3. Honestly, I’m just a halfway house that is good at networking and knows that she will not fail them nor will thise i work with. 501 takes way too much work, and my brain is already fried. It is often funded by myself and several individuals who have gone to the moon and back for us.

Not a fun post but a post of comfort and prayer. Please keep Suki in prayers. She is being kept comfortable but is scheduled to be pain free Friday 7/25 at 8:30 am. She has been a treasure and has has 4 extra years. We love her but don’t want her to suffer.

As many know the phone calls suck to make. With love comes pain and loss. She is a special girl.

Thank you all for the support and love and special treats for Suki through the years. Thank you Sandy for the best of food and love. Thank you Zara, Mike, Cindy, Ned, Chris and Laura . Thank you Nate for joining the family and loving everyone.

"In this life, you're meant to have one great dog," I said.
"One that shifts something deep inside you, in a way you never saw coming. He shows up maybe when you need him most, maybe when you're too lost to see it. And in the smallest, most ordinary moments, he changes you."
I paused thinking of all the nights, I trudged through, feeling like I was carrying the weight of the world alone.
"He's the one who brings you back, makes it bearable when you're tethering on the edge. He doesn't try to explain or preach. He just stays there, showing you a kind of love you didn't think existed."
And that's the thing about that one great dog, he makes you question how you ever got by without him. You look at him, lying there, and realize he's given you more than any person ever has - no big speeches, just a presence, that says I'm here with you. And somehow that's enough to change everything.

You guys this dog has been running loose for a week. It came here from Prescott Valley all the way to Prescott . The owner works in Phoenix and has family trying to help. I spent 5 hrs yesterday trying to coax her, worried to death with it being in the snow and temperatures of 11° I caught her. She is safe at humane with a blanket food and vet care … three year-old female , I sure wish the best for her..
