My favourite part of horse dental exams is watching Sarah check for beans 😂

What are beans?
🐴Beans are a mass of material that collects in male horses ge****ls
🐴 They can become very large and as hard as rocks!
🐴Beans can cause sheath swelling, painful urination, colic, lameness, kidney disease, and infection
🐴 Signs of a painful bean include a swollen sheath, tail rubbing, behaviour changes

Horses should have their sheath checked for beans every year 🔍
What better time to do this than while under sedation during their annual dental exam?
