Meet Duncan !

https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1W2KmzHopq/

My name is... DUNCAN!

S*x: Male
Breed: Cattle Dog
Age: 4 months, DOB: 11/05/26
Ref: 13005
Duncan has been at the animal shelter since 12/09/2026

Sweet little Duncan is a bit of a sensitive soul who is looking for a kind and understanding forever home. Duncan can be a shy boy and takes time to warm up to new people and new environments. He is currently in foster care and is able to show his amazing personality now that he's out of the shelter - he has mastered how to "sit", and is eagerly learning other tasks including how to walk well on lead.

Duncan's new owner will need to be an experienced dog owner who is comfortable with nervous dogs and understands the need for patience and understanding. Duncan gets along well with both other dogs and cats, he also loves water and, although he takes time to warm up to new people, once he does he builds a strong bond with his person.

If you are interested in Duncan, contact our team on 9710 0401 - please note he is currently in foster care and we are looking for him to go straight to his new home to avoid coming back into the shelter.

Duncan's adoption fee would be $370 which includes desexing, flea and worming, first vaccination and lifetime registration.

Meet Miles.

ADOPTED!!

Hi my name is ... MILES

S*x: Male
Breed: German Shepherd Dog
Age: 2 Years
Ref: 102891

Miles has been at the shelter since 14/07/2026

Miles is a social butterfly who is a very happy, gorgeous pup who loves attention and socialising with people.

This sweet boy is active and excitable; he adores meeting new people for pats and playtime! Outside of the shelter, Miles enjoys his walks and exploring his surroundings.

Miles would be best suited to an active, fun-loving family that would enjoy having an active, smart and outgoing companion to take out on long walks and adventures

Further training is recommended for gorgeous Miles to keep his bright mind sharp and stimulated as well as shaping him into the best version of himself.

During his time at the shelter, Miles has shown interest in meeting other dogs so may be open to sharing his forever home with some doggy pals however a meet and greet is essential to ensure they'll be the best of friends.

Due to his large size and boisterous nature, Miles is recommended to a home with dog-savvy children with no pocket pets.

His Adoption fee is $370 this includes microchipping, Vaccination, desexing, lifetime registration and flea and worming.

Rainy day? No worries — the fun doesn’t have to stop just because the weather does. 🌧🐾

Keeping dogs mentally stimulated indoors is just as important as physical exercise — especially for active dogs like Havoc & Radar! From scent games and puzzle toys to tug sessions, training, and indoor adventures, enrichment helps burn energy, reduce boredom, build confidence, and strengthen your bond together.

A tired mind is a happy dog. 💜

Here are some of our favourite rainy-day enrichment ideas to help keep your pups entertained, engaged, and out of mischief while stuck indoors.

What’s your dog’s favourite rainy-day activity? ⬇️
